Constructive input appreciated Blinds are 5/10 I raise UTG to 55 (standard but healthy raise in this game) with JJ and about $2,500 behind Button who is an extremely good but very tight player calls with about $6,000 behind SB who is a terrible calling station calls with about $3,000 behind Flop comes Kh Jd 8d SB checks, I bet $150, button calls and SB calls Turn is Qs SB checks, I bet $400, button angrily slams his chips and mumbles about the awful turn card which he has a tendency to do when he's actually pissed off but then calls and the SB calls behind him River is 4h SB checks, I bet $700, button calls and SB folds and button shows me 9d10d for straight The hand was very confusing to me because of the play of the button player. He is the type who would have repopped me another $300 preflop if he had KK so I knew I had the best hand on the flop. Also, he's not typically the type to play A10 or even 9 10 to a raise (I've seen him consistently muck AQ suited to a raise). However, if he does turn his straight, he has the SB calling station in the hand with an obvious flush draw who he is letting see the river without a raise, which is completely uncharacteristic of his play. The only hand he can be completely comfortable with seeing another card is Ad10d as he is freerolling unless the board pairs, but I just didn't think he would play that. What would you have done different?
