  1. A while back I played a sng where we were down to the final 3 and all had around 4500 with one of us sitting out and blinds at 200-400 with antes.

The sitting out guy was on the button so I shoved 98s and my opponent snap called me w/ a3o. My shove is unexploitable, but what do you sng grinders think about his call? I think it's terrible bc he's basically 50-50 to beat me hu if we both just wait for the other guy to go broke and pocket the free buy-in. He'd been sitting out for a couple rounds so it was pretty obv he wasn't coming back. I shoved bc I don't expect almost anyone to do that. and is taking a 55% vs atc. I'm not shoving that wide but I wouldn't blame him for thinking I was. What would you guys call with there and would you expect your opponents to shove atc or not wanna go broke themselves w/ someone sitting out? Does anyone not think my shove was worth it?
  2. How active were you?

What was the image you had on the opponent?

10bb to 11bbs almost anything is possible. You are right that it's unexploitable but your opponent might be thinking the same thing.

You took a shot. Nothing wrong with shoving the sb into the bb. It just didn't work this time.

Thanks for the input. I'm just wondering if I should call if I ever find myself in a similar spot.

  4. Calling in that spot is a leak.

    It's push/fold.

Who ever wins that hand (when you get called) is going to be the SNG winner.
  5. K. Thanks very much.
