You say no reads, but what gave you the idea he was aggro?
As played, fold to turn raise. Also, a bet of 950 would have been about half the pot after the flop -
He's got plenty of 9's in his range, possibly an 8 or even 67, although I doubt he's shoving anything besides a 9 here. Then again, your bet sizing to me looks a lot like AK so he if he had a small pair and got counterfeited, he could be shoving as a bluff.
-
No reads but he "seems pretty aggro" is not even worth putting into the post.
99, 88, 67, TJ, overpairs, overcards on flop.
as he jammed river he's probs not sick enough to do this with air so going with the 88, 99, 67 or overpair. -
I say just give up on the turn and check to the villain after he called you on the flop, rather than double barrelling in a pretty deep pot. Definitely fold to villain's re-raise on the turn. His strength is too much just to put the randomer on a bluff, I'd just give the villain the benefit of the doubt, say he's got a full house or perhaps a straight but nearly definitely better than us.

I would do pretty much everything different.
Pre: Flat pre. If you're going to 3bet, 3bet more.
Flop: Bet more on flop.
Turn: Betting turn is mixed, 5h doesnt help his range but also doesn't improve your perceived range. If you're going to bet turn, bet more. As played, fold to turn raise.
River: check/fold river. If you really want to bluff that river, you have to bet more than 1/4 or 1/3 pot. It's not really a good river to bluff though -
I agree with ben faz. I have played a lot of smaller stakes like this and at this EARLY stage you shouldn't be trying to get fancy.
The 3 bet pre is fine with me and the c bet. If I took the line you take on the turn and then get re popped, IF for some reason I think this guys like you think he is I WOULD NOT ever float call this bet to try and hero or bluff value bet the river. MAYBE min reraise. then check fold river... But again your just getting yourself into this huge pot that you dont need to get into.
Basically in general save this play for later on in the tourney where theres antes and you have seen more hands from this villain. Play your good hands well and give up MORE early. ESp in this tourney! -
sorry forgot about this post, loocing bac through the sizings are a bit off (have been experimenting latley), and yeah this is a very spey line by no means standard was probably tilted or something at the time, i ended up thincing he flats river with ax, tt+ and shoves full house quads and air, and witht he texture of the flop/turn i decided draws were a big part of his range.
