  1. So today I got in this spot and was really really confused on what my play should be with AQ

I got 300 and the player that got involved had 350

Preflop with 2 limpers UTG+1 and UTG+2 I make it 15 to go from cutoff (Table was playing kind of slow so thats why it was lower)

Everyone folds but the two orginal limpers.

    Flop- AsKh5h
I bet 35 and he calls.. and then checks dark
    Turn- Kc
I check behind because I thought K was possible and wanted to see river then play..
    River- 7c
He checks, at this point I felt confident that I had the best hand and bet 30 to try and milk a call from him with A worse kicker..
He then re raises to 80

    Whats your play???

Only hands I put him on was AJ, A10 or what i really thought a missed flush draw.. and also me check the turn I felt either represents weakness or having K
  2. You're way ahead or way behind here and no more cards are coming. What have you seen the player do in the past?

    Pre-f Pot 48 (less rake)
    Flop 48+70 = 118
    Rvr 118+30+80 = 228 - 5rake = 223
    You are getting 2.8:1
Do you think you will win 26% of the times you call in this situation. Has your opponent been bluffy on the river?
If he's tight and only bets with the goods (average player) you should fold.
    If he's kinda loose, call.

  3. The thing about this player is that he has the ability to be tight or loose it all just depends.. I generally think he is a tight preflop player but once on the flop he is willing to call if he thinks he is good

  4. If you don't want to call a C-R, you should generally check behind when you have position with showdown values.

If you thought you were slightly behind and he might fold; you could turn your hand into a bluff and go for the bet/fold line.

Your $30 bet into a $118 pot looks awfully weak and might have inspired him to take you off the hand.

  5. i expect to see a flush draw here at least 26% of the time, and if he's a typical live player i wouldn't be shocked to see AJ/AT either. I think this discounts the times you pay off a K here, i take it is was KJ/KT/55??

Not this, wow. Please bet the river and probably just fold to the raise. Just can't imagine a whole lot of live 1/2 players pulling c/r river bluffs.

  7. If he is capable of making a move, I call the river as played.. However, I am not sure I like your river value bet there unless you think he is capable of calling you pre with a worse ace preflop..
