    In the interview after Ferguson wins he says he used to play HU on the 'net 15 years ago. The internet wasn't much more than chatroom and email 15 years ago...there was poker?

    it's really hard to search for other past interviews where he said he played irc poker which they played for fake money.

    Internet Relay Chat I believe is the pseudenym. Chris was a god with it and studied patterns and such. I have said this before, Chris is the original online player.

    Planet Poker. It's where I started. Even got to play with Mike Caro a few times. It's still there also.

    When I was in the bahamas, I was talking to Lee Jones and he said that he used to play online around that time, and one hand could take literally a few days because it was all done through e-mail. Its pretty mind-blowing to compare that to the current state of online poker!

    ha I remember Planet. When they first introduced unlimited hold them for play money. The max buy in was like 100 chips. i remember some of the rgulars like lucksack, dhn, steve1...

    I also remember railing thecount in the 20-40 lhe game an that was considered high stakes.

    oh, and using doh, lol, youlit, etc in the chat and hearing the sound effects
