I was watching my friend oldshcool played, and we both no that ari, can be laggy, neways LP raiser, two cold callers, and Ari raises in the BB. Whats his range? and our shove range/call range? ill post more later....

  2. ari doesn't play junk early in the tourney .... now as far as what you should do ... i dunno
  3. I imagine thats a pretty easy fold. I see no reason to put that many chips in with TT
  4. early in the tourney with the blinds so low and having position on him, it wouldn't be a bad play to smooth call and see a flop.
  5. against ari i insta fold, ive played alot with him and i can assure you that you are behind his range.

Ari being laggy early is a myth, however him being an owner 24/7 is not a myth

  6. lol grip, for 20% of your chips in the first level of a tourney, you would continue with your tens because of position?

  7. like any decent player, i'd like to think i mix up my play enough, so that this spot is not an auto-anything. However, early in a sng, its more likely than not that i'll be playing tight. Against any tight range, i think 10's go into the muck.
  8. if 10s are a fold, what do u do with AKo, and JJ?

  9. Fold.
  10. yup
  11. its tough, its just so situational, like i said, i def don't think its auto anything
  12. i continue with my 10s because if i happen to flop a set and ari does end up having an overpair on me, i can double up quite nicely on him. and if i dont flop a set, or the flop comes with overs and he bets into me, i can just fold and still have 80 BB's. early on, i dont see why this would be a horrible idea
  13. I think the mistake came not reraising the initial raiser. Pop it to 140 that will get you the best read on the action
  14. I think Ari has KK. He could be reading weakness and raising, but based on the size of the raise, he seems to want action. Fold.

P.S. Trs makes an excellent point. Repop him and Ari's reraise is a much easier read and you probably get a better read otherwise. Why you're mining a set with TT, I don't know.
  15. this actually isnt even an issue. just a very easy fold unless your opponent is a proven donk.

    ari isn't.
  16. all in...see where you stand
  17. AA or KK would be my bet.

  18. agree... go all in and see where your at.. obv...
  19. if this is a sng, which i like to think it is? i fold here every single time unless i know 110% that my opponent is raising with junk. This is because it is not worth it to lose 20% of your stack with a hand like TT here. most of the time you are beat, AK is a possibility, but it seems QQ+ is his most likely range. if this is a sng, fold and wait for a better spot, you dont really need to play hands with marginal starting cards until the 50/100 level and on
  20. I FOLD CUZ I FEAR BODOGARI.
