    Is anyone going to this event? I will be there with a few buddies from March 31st - April 6th. They have a bunch of smaller scale events with the ME being 2k buyin. Never been there. Don't know what to expect.

    After playing at the IP all day, definately head over to the Beau Rivage to get laid. Usually alot of trim walking through there Thursday-Sundays.

    I thought the WPT Spring Break Poker Classic was @ the Beau Rivage, is that not correct?

    Edit: I see, it's a totally different event. I'll prolly be playing on in the 3/22 $500 event @ the Beau.

    anyone know the blind levels and starting chip stacks for the ip tournies

    beau rivage has 40 min levels 4k stacks

    not sure of the blind structures. i'm sure they will be decent at the least. has anyone ever been to the ip classic before? are there a lot of people that go there for the events? any help would be greatly appreciated! thanks

    I played in last year's event. I believe the prelim events ($300/$500 buy-in) are structured at 2500 chips and 40 min levels. The turnout last year was pretty good for certain events. Moneymaker and Esfandiari promoted the event and played in a few tournaments.

    FWIW - the Beau Rivage spring break classic (linked above^^^^) is the better event. Better structure and much nicer casino.

    Bring a coat cus its the coldest room ive ever stepped into in my life. I was there for the sattelittes a few months ago and it was packed everyday.. They are having a $175 ? everynight at 6pm starting Weds. probably try 1 or 2 of those this week..

    I would def play in the Spring Break Classic but I will not be in town then so my buddies and I are going to play in the IP Poker Classic events!
