Anyone planning on going to this? What events are you planning on playing? Im gonna try to make it down for the Friday and saturday tournys and hopefully sundays ko tourny. Depending on how it goes I definately wanna play the main event, looks like a pretty sick structure.
I've never been to the Isle so not sure how much hotels in that area run but its like a 4 hour drive 1 way for me so most likely I'll be looking into getting a room. Let me know if ur interested in sharin a room (no pedos or serial killers pls)
Oh and does anyone know if they will have cash games available also? -

Best place to stay would be on Pompano Beach on the ocean or Lauderdale by The Sea or Deerfield Beach area.
The area right around the casino is not the greatest but they have special rates at the Marriot and Westin I believe.
It is a straight drive up Atlantic Ave so look for something in either Lauderdale by the Sea.
HOJO or the smaller hotels.
If you need good high speed internet there are some hotels along SW 10th Street and I 95 area. Deerfield. Best Western Deerfield Beach Hotel & Suites

The motels right near the Casino off the turnpike Exit 67 Coconut Creek are a crack area so be careful. -
There are usually 4 to 5 good 5/10 NL cash games. 2/5 also but be aware there is a min 50 $ 100 Max buy in.
Good action on the 5/10 games NL.
I will be there on June 20th after I get back from Las Vegas for the Day 1 B main event.
The blinds are 1 hour and 25 K chips I believe -
thx for the info clovus

I dont live in Pompano Beach but a bit further north on the beach. If a bunch of people are coming down we should try to set up a P5s get together as mentioned above. If people are interested say so in the thread and we can get a place to meet.
PM me with any questions if u wish or lets discuss in the thread -
im down to meet up with p5ers. only problem is i was gonna use a check from a cashout to play and now they say i cant cash it obv. what fucking timing, but im still gonna do my best to figure out a way to go. if a few of us are gonna be there at the same time tho we def should meet up and have a few drinks or maybe even try to get a cash game going or something

I will say that I called them today to ask if you had to prereg, and they said no you can show up day of. They also said theres no max entrants so you dont have to worry about it period. -
i'll prolly play the 300, the 200, and the 500 def, and depending on how that goes I might play the maine event.
I am not sure it will get over 200 runners blade ... event 1 is 25k guar and $300 entry so they expect somewhere in the ballpark of 83 people (obv not exactly 83, but thats much less than what it would be if they expected 200 people) -
also a good possibility. perhaps we can call and ask how many they are expecting? ill do it in a bit and get back to everyone
-
Looks like im heading down tomorrow morning and most likely gonna play Fri, Sat, and Sundays events and leave after sundays tourny. Depending on how those go I might come back down for the $500 tourny and or the main event

Not a bad turnout considering the WSOP is still going on.
