    380 people in a 100 freeze and under 8k for first? 50r is like 8k for first? Simply awful and very greedy by stars if it is due to have more rake circulating quicker.
    Is WCOOP going to have this new awful payout? I thought point of mtts was play for first.

    100k nightly pays out like 20k usually now

    Full Tilt is really starting to pull away as a clear #1. Didn't think I would ever say that.

    i agree, especially combined with the fact that stars refuses to overhaul their schedule or even add guarantees to staple tourneys ($22R, $109R, $55+1r+1a, etc)

    There is nothing more annoying than playing a 2K person tourney on there and making the last three tables and getting barely 8x your buyin back.

    No reason to pay out more than 10% of a field period.

    Seriously, I don't want to cash and make less than my buyin back and there are several tourneys on PS that happens in.

    Its not just the high buyin tourneys, its across the board, PS fix your payouts for crying out loud.

    For all the blasting of my favorite site Bodog, they pay 10% of the pool normally and frankly I love it.

    i remember a few years back doyles room never paid more than 27 no matter how many were in the tourny. cashed a lot less but the wins were huge.

    The daily 15k always used to give about 5k to first now its about 3k plus!

    stars are so bad, they really are not intrested in giving players what they want(take cash steps for instance) I mean the Mtt schedule for us Europeans is SOOOooo bad....But then again I can play on ANY site in true freedom, but I still love stars interface etc, just they do not give a shit about what players want.

    Why not some big gurantees for $55/$75 etc etc??

    WTF are they worried about?

    As a low to medium stakes player, I originally thought that I liked the change. However, now I only try to play the tourneys that pay 10% of the field. The low levels of cashing when they pay more then 10% doesn't make the time you have to put into a tourney worth it. There are so many tournies that you don't even make your buy-in back.

    i played in a tourney the other day with 1200 and nearly 200 got paid whats that about?!

    noone care about finishing 178th, spread the cash better for the top finishers!!

    "Cashing" for less than buy-in is ridiculous. There are some tourneys on FTP where this occurs as well though.

    Someone said in an different thread that this was done to spread more $ out to the average player in turn allowing them to play more tournaments and paying more rake.

    Most of the players that object are too invested in stars to just boycott it and the other players like it b/c they get to make the $$ more easily.

    The payouts are so horrid, but I am not sure what can be done to change it.

    I would agree that FTP has a better tourney schedule and payout system, but the reason that stars is #1 and will continue to be #1 is because Stars reward system is by far and away the best in the industry. FTP points are basically useless and take forever to accumulate. Eventhough Stars new payouts suck, the biggest cashes have been and still are on Stars. But, I do agree that the payout system Stars has now is just not very good. If they want to pay out more people pay out 11-12% but 15-20% of the field being paid is just way too many...
