    I emailed stars and haven't played a MTT since I realized how F'd up the changes are.I'm sticking to 180's,I look at the MTT's and just shake my head why bother.FuLL Tilt I haven't played there in 2 yrs but I'm going to now, F Stars new POS payouts

    i just watched a FT of th nightly 50-50 or 50-100 now...

    ~12k for 2nd

    ~16k for 1st

    just doesnt seem right.

    stars gave me a free $5 so I decided to try to roll it into something. I don't know why you would ever play a tournament as a micro player. You can win much more playing sng's for the time you have invested. You would have to win the tournament to even come close to the money you can make playing $1 sngs, let alone $3 sngs.

    Exactly.

    The least stars should do is reserve a more top-heavy structure for some of the higher buy-ins and not have this socialistic crap infect all their tournaments.

    I feel slighted that stars claims payouts have been this way since 2006 but we all know that just a few months ago came widespread payout structure change. Lying to your customers... great move.

    totally agree. but i love the 2x payouts that they currently have. wish they would just keep them.

    I agree the payout is not your typical MTT structure but there could be a couple reasons for stars doing this. Sure the new structure sucks for ppl who can finish deep consistently and in the top 1-5 spots often. However if u take the money away from the top heavy spots and re distibute a bit more to then next 15 or 20% of the field those players will feel like winners and they're gonna keep chasing and playing, and depositing. Doing this would gain the site more $ in fees obviously but also give the better players more fish to get $ from. Downside is much much more time invested by the pro for same (but hopefully better) ev. I got more thoughts but dont wanna rant... thats just the only justification i can see thats beneficial to stars and the skilled players.
