I've received strange AIMs...

    Sep 26th, 2010 (9/26/2010 7:00pm)

    has anyone every received a random IM from some screen name you don't know that says "hey, this girl princestra209 wants you to IM her, she says she knows you from school" I've gotten this message from 5 or 6 different aim screen names and I know of other people who have gotten this message.

    yeah its obv a scam all the sudden i started getting them like a week ago.... i googled it... supposed to be a bot to get you to sign up for a live webcam site. i blocked right away.

    best question is where are they getting the AIM screen names from?

    would hope that people are intelligent to not be clicking any links like that, so that's really not a big deal, bigger deal is who/what/how they're getting this info

    Ive gotten it to. Try talking to her for her entire conversation. For one, its hilarious and I think once she finishes talking to you it will automatically shut off because I havn't gotten another one since then
