But judging by this, I think it's safe to say Ivey has won:

  3. Take me to your Lederer.
    Weeeeee, Phil!

Seriously tho, wtf was Lederer thinking? Ivey ain't from here.
  8. WSOP.com reported that they overheard Ivey say, "So how much is it for first place anyway?" Lol.

  10. I do the same thing when playing $5 SNG's. I'm beginning to wonder what exactly Iveys (and Lederers for that matter) net worth actually is, jeez.
  11. Honestly putting the prop bets and all to the side Ivey is fucking unbelieveable. Bottom line. I know some idiots going to come in this thread and say ppl are nuts swinging lalala. Shut up! The guy is the greatest Poker player of all time and will keep getting better. If you dont praise his talents than whos talents would you? Hes our Micheal Jordan of Poker, our Phil Mickleson (FUCK TIGER), Wayne Gretsky, ETC. I personally wish I could watch film on Ivey, see his hole card and study his game like Kobe does to jordan and so on. To master your game from a living legend is something we all should do. Obv its pretty hard but to learn from the best may make you the best.

Congrats Ivey and GL in the future and to ALL players trying to make it in this life of poker GL to ALL.

And Ivey is probably Top 3, and at least Top 5, but G.O.A.T. is debatable. But Mickelson tho....SMH.<input id="gwProxy" type="hidden"><!--Session data--><input onclick="jsCall();" id="jsProxy" type="hidden">
  13. Ok I am not much of a golf expert so I'll take your word for it. sorry for the use of Mickleson.
But LMFAO at ivey top 3 and the GOAT is debateable...Please debate and let me hear this one!

  14. what ivey's done is beyond sick..... but let's not forget Stu..... there use to be 2 huge poker events each year...WSOP ME and Amarillo's Super Bowl of poker...no player ever won them both other than Stu...and he won them both 3x....... However i think you'd have a hard time making an argument for anyone else other than Stu to be above Ivey....

  15. so how many bracelets is this for ivey?

    Doesnt exist anymore....irrelevant
  17. Yeah I had Stu Ungar in mind but more so Chip Reese who, from what I've gathered from reading different things online, was considered by nearly all of his peers to be the greatest player to have ever lived (especially cash).

  19. I rarely swing but Ivey's the fucking man!
  20. Is he a robot?
  21. "That man is Phil Ivey. Bracelet number eight. It puts him in rare company with the elite in poker's history. Of course, bracelets mean a lot to Ivey, but the talk tomorrow will be about the side bets he stands to collect from this victory. In fact after it was all over, Ivey was overheard to comment, "So how much is it for first place anyway?"

    I thought this was great.
  22. helmuth is going to have to start paying off the high stakes regs to not make bracelet bets with ivey or hes not gona have the most for much longer.

  23. How much was 1st tho?

Poker today is so hard to even compare to poker back then, field sizes are infinitely larger and the amount of players with knowledge of the game is far superior. What Ivey is doing in todays game is so much tougher than what any of the old guys have done.

and lol at the guy saying Mickleson is a better golfer than tiger...just lol

Thanks for the useful information, keep trolling. Maybe if you took a second to think and quit being a douche, you might realize that not everyone can get on certain websites like wsop.com at work. Thanks again.
