I've been watching the re-broadcast of the 2008 WSOP and it seems A-J was not the hand to go all in with...
1) Mike the Mouth busted out with A-J vs. A-9 with 2 Aces on the flop and a 9 on the turn.
2) I don't know if it was the same guy that knocked Mike out, Sean? went all in against Ylon Schwartz with a flop of J-J-K and a K on the turn and lost to Ylon's A-K
3) Dean Hamrick busted out with A-J vs. Q-Q against Craig Marquis on the bubble of the final table.
Is there any way to check the statistics of a hand like A-J and how many players busted out with A-J in the WSOP?
I don't think I'd go all in with A-J on the bubble of the final table...
Thoughts on going all in with A-J... -
I like to go allin with AJ, unless someone else has AK, or AQ. Or a pocketpair, since AJ is slightly behind. But usually they will have the AK and you will be 70 30 underdog. Of course AJ is the 3rd best unpaired hand making it 80 percent odds against someone beating you.
-
Didn't Tiffany Michelle go out with AJ too?

AJ at a 5 handed table is pretty strong..

Read that comment again and think about it. If they are already at the final table, how are they on the final table bubble?

The final table bubble is when there are TWO tables left and everybody except the next eliminated person makes the final table.
Therefore, on the final table bubble, tables are playing 5-handed (one table has 6 in the case of a 10-man final table), hence my original comment. -
10 handed table, final table is 9 handed. not that hard to understand. hence, final table bubble

It seems like we have different definitions of what the final table is. I consider the final table when all remaining players are playing at the last (final) table.

AJ is a piece of shit. Ask anyone.

The parking lot.

AT on the other hand must be Da Nutz because within two days it knocked me out of FTP's Fifty-Fifty, UB's 30 rebuy and another tournament, each time holding AK or AQ and getting it in on an ace-high-no-ten-flop then the friggen ten comes on the turn or river. Oh wait, <--- Bad beats.....
