  1. fter Jared Hamby raises to 2,700 preflop, both the button and the big blind call. The flop comes 10-7-3 with two diamonds and the big blind bets $5,500. Hamby raises to $16,000 and the button moves all in for around $50,000. The big blind folds and Hamby makes the call. Hamby turns over A-A and his opponent shows 96 for a flush draw and gutshot straight draw. The turn blanks out but the river bring a third diamond, completing his opponent's flush. His opponent doubles up and Hamby is left with only $9,200 chips.

sucks, he doesnt lose this pot he may be on the verge of one of greatest poker accomplishments of all time.

    Mike Matusow Eliminated
Shortly before the last break, Mike Matusow was eliminated from the 2007 WPT Championship.

With blinds at $500-$1000 with a $100 ante and Matusow in the cutoff, an early position player limped and was raised to $4,500. Matusow called the $4,500 and Lee Markholt, the big blind, called as did the early position limper.

The flop was 977. The table checked to Matusow who bet $11,000. Markholt raises to $32,000. The rest of the table folds and Matusow moves all in for about $100,000. Markholt went in the tank for several minutes before calling and tabling the AQ. Matusow shows 87. The J on the turn gave Markholt his flush and the 9 on the river did not fill Matusow up, eliminating him from the event.
