Yeah he's probably one of the top 4-5 players in the world but I doubt he'll repeat, the odds of that happening are like 1 in 100 for a player on Yang's level, I predict he'll make a deep run like WSOP greats Jaime Gold and Chris Moneymaker, probably deeper than Gold though because even though he's the best bluffer in the world I think that sometimes gets him into trouble like when he's raising a lot of pots then people want to play back at him and everyone knows you can't win when all they do is call.

i like how jamie gold claims hes the best bluffer in the world because he ran miraculously well for one tournament and was in every single pot.

lawls, imagine if moneymaker, gold, or yang do final table this year...
it'll be all over the press for the 3-4 months that we have to wait, and they'll hype them up on TV to be some of the greatest ever. Mass media is so retarded that they'll seriously try and make a huge story out of it and put them on a pedestal.
i really hope that there are multiple online pros that final table. -

Idoubt any online players will make it, in real poker you have to look someone in the sunglasses/eyes when you make a bluff, and risk them reading your soul, it's nothing like the video games that these kids play.

actually met him in person and he is a class act all the way. he is also actually doing some good with his Fortune, moreso than many others can say.
highly doubt he'll repeat, but seems like a genuine good person. -

ill b dissapointed with anything but a top 3 finish...garbageman is hoping for top 5...it will b hard for us to get that far considering the fact that we arent even playing the ME...but anything is possible so we will keep u updated...

we already agreed to chop after the first person gets eliminated on day 1a. it will pretty much cover dinner and the gas to get from hotel to tournament and back.

i duno why all the hate for jerry yang. The guy played outstanding, outplayed the final table. Had some fantastic reads, rarely sucked out and has shown he has the cool and the skills to be a longterm winner in this game. Its only a matter of time before he wins his 2nd bracelet

Give me Jamie Gold over Jerry Yang any day. Atleast Gold has the balls to mix it up with the best in the world in the high stakes games, and is taking a run at improving his game and seeing where he can go with poker. He's been a very visible as a champion, and I think he's done his part to promote poker. Jerry Yang has been hiding under the blankets praying not to lose his money for the last year. I can't wait to forget about him and move on.
