  1. He has actually managed this tournament quite well and gotten fairly unlucky. My guess is we are going to see that the guy had decent cards most of the tourney.

Early on he needed to gamble and played aggressively. He has gotten very unlucky. This latest AQ with the old guy was just an ignorant play by the old guy. Raise, re-raise all with AQ. So silly.
  2. I will respect him more if he hurries up... 12 hands an hour? F Beanie.
  3. I wrote the same thing. He has an odd style that might not work all the time but he is the only one being aggressive at the table, he is picking up a ton of uncontested pots. Either everyone is card dead or they aren't adapting to his play

  4. I think it's just the 10x raises I have a problem with. I think Rahme is worse though....

  5. he is positively Ferguson-esque. In last years WSOP when I was at his table I would count as he deliberated a few times just poking a bit fun.

  6. I agree, he hasnt shown that many hands or suspect plays really. And listening to Phil Gordon try to explain how you should do this do that, is hilarious!
  7. the AQ v QQ evens up the KJ v J8. Yes he has gotten unlucky but he won flips in the beginning and now his luck is turning. I still like the russian.
  8. rahme's play has been pretty gross most of what i have seen, overraising alot of pots, etc

maybe i am wrong, but i dont see yang raising 10x.........i have only seen rahme do it

Eyes are shutting tho, i could be wrong,

I am actually pulling for yang now, i am actually enjoying watching him play, only one playing aggressive, and he is def controlling the table fairly well. F the d'bag announcers bagging the guy, he is not playing that awful. He did make a couple questionalbe calls early on, no doubt, but they are making it seem like the guy is the second coming of Moneymaker

  9. Rahme is tired. He is also the worst player at the table by far. Jerry is doing a lot of things right given his circumstance. Unfortunately I think if he gets too much lower he will crash and burn.

Which of course brings up the question, why did god like him earlier but not lately? He offered 10% tithe, do you think its possible Raymond Rahme offered more to god?

  10. Tuan Lam hasn't exactly gotten his money in good in any big hands.

In fairness, he seems like he's been completely card dead this FT. They've played so few hands in this period of time though.

Last year they'd had 235 hands in the same time they'd played 140 this year. That's pretty pathetic. 2005 was over 200 by that time as well.
  11. Hell, at this point, I am willing to root for anyone playing like they are trying to close thsi dam thing and finish it.

F sleeping on the couch tonight

    and oh yeah

  12. but ferguson looks at his opponent to try to get a read as well

Yang doesnt even look at them when he is in a hand
  13. lol at bringing up the KJ hand. That moron laid the QQ's to him and he will think about that every day of his life once the show airs. To put a guy on AA or KK with that board was idiotic.

Yang played the J8 hand trying to get him off of his hand and got caught. Mistakes of aggression aren't as bad as going all in for 20 million after a raise and re-raise. That was just silly.

  14. J8 winning vs KJ = everyone calling him a donk for like 9 hours based on one hand

hours later i am still confused to him callin off 9 million with a9 vs lee watkinson who had been very quiet at the table LOL
a9> a7 but i def could not belive he called with a9 even if it was blind on blind
  15. I think the way the Russian Player is playing he has the best chance if he can double up once..
  16. Well Lee Watkinson didn't share your opinion, that should matter for something. Say what you want, he was right and that should count for something.

  17. Also his call with KQ vs. Kravchenko, although he might have figured he had chips to burn there and was willing to gamble against a dangerous opponent who was low.
  18. way too passive. Jerry Yang has been bitch slapping him.

  19. without hijacking this thread
can I nominate beanie or someone else to make a thread about the next guest commentator rather than 340832443 theads being created asking is Johnny Chan has heard of Red Bull, is on crack or drunk
aka corey zeidman and his duplicate threads

OT > PD as far as duplicate threads, cause I would not want to sound negative, right Lenny :)
  20. I cannot wait to see that hand on TV w/ the hole cards. Very curious what Yang had there.

  21. ya that hand was sick. I'm not sure who it was but did you hear that guy earlier berating internet players for only thinking about positive EV situations? lulz.
  22. yea waaay too passive.
  23. Rahme may need a bump of cocaine and a couple red bull's to wake up

  24. obv rahme is not playing well, but I dont think the aq play is bad at all.
  25. Jerry building again. Very surprised more flops aren't being seen.

  26. yeah i didn't hate that play either...

  27. it was a raise, re-raise and then all in. AQ is almost never good there.

You internet players and your damn EV;-)
