Here is what made me dislike Yang so much. I am a devout Christian [which by the way, does NOT mean morally holier-than-thou] and if God was going to intervene in a direct fashion, it probably would involve feeding the hungry in Darfur and not delivering an eight of spades to Jerry Yang.

yea like me... I am far from being perfect when it comes to grammar, and I hardly "grammar police all the time" like you say... way to make stuff up

however, when someone rambles for that long without using paragraphs or commas, it is incredibly hard to read... it's not hard to use some commas and help everyone out

First, I really don't understand why so many of you are hating on Jerry Yang. Yes a little odd and a bit different but I mean the guy is attempting to make a difference. At least he is a giving some money to help others. I'm not saying praying to god on television is right, but I think there are other things to hate upon than hating because of this Jerry Yang.

Second, as far as Waco's comments goes, I think some of them are inappropriate. Yes this is a forum and it is hard to distinguish sarcasm and a joking attitude but Waco your posts do come across a little harsh at times. On a side note, I do believe a lot of people are just looking for a way to flame on you.

okay, i met the champ in reno in march, and i actually got to converse with him for 20 minutes (got a nice pic). i also PPVed the final table from last year, so i saw ALL the play, not just highlights shown to the viewer who doesnt get to enjoy the progression of the 'flow of the game'.
Yang was shortstacked at the beginning of the FT, and IMO made a play at winning the title. he was aggressive, reckless and gambled when the others were tight and passive. I honestly feel he deserved the title that day, AND i can cite many plays that were unorthodox, foolish, and too risky in a major championship FT. he certainly and consistently overvalued the value (size in proportion) of blinds and antes he went after with questionable raises preflop.
the fact is, he won, he's the champ, and the uninformed, know nothing haters here can express thier fucked up opinions, if they must.
hater posters, we know youre a donkey...but Yang is a donkey world champion that goes down in history... complete with televised documentation, fame, and the label of world champion. Maybe Jerrys just a good guy, and you hate him for it.

Worst post ever.

Trying to figure out how someone who has been here since only late 2007 and has 80 posts know what is the worst post ever.

Jerry Yang is a class act, I met him in Tunica. Very well mannered at the table even though he was second player out in a single table to satty to main event, lol. but in all seriousness, anyone who takes pics, signs autographs with a smile all the time and gives back money to help the needy is a stand up guy in my book.

Anyone who thinks Jerry Yang is a douche needs to have their douche-meter re-calibrated. Here's a tip how to do it - point it at the biggest douchebag to play the WSOP in recent memory - Hevad Khan.
