In continuing his quest to be the greatest player ever to not be ranked, DA JINX chopped the $540 2nd Chance tourney at the Rio.
I made a cool $16k, boy am I glad I suck at Stud O8 and was able to sign up for this tourney in time :-D.
I dominated the whole tourney, which was a pretty fast structure. Got to a nice chip lead early, and then just bullied the table the rest of the way. With 18(2 tables left) the average stack was around 10k, and i had over 40k!
When we got down to headsup, we talked about a deal, but since i was up 110k to 80k, and was pretty confident in my awesomeness, I declined. 1st was 21k, 2nd 11k. I chipped away at his stack for a bit, slowly increasing my lead, and then IT happened. SB(Button) completed and I look down at 87 and CHECK. The flop was a lovely 875, and I led out for half the pot. The button raised it about 3x my bet, in which I eventually decided to go all in. The button had 76o and called, boy was I scared! Of course the turn is a 9, with the river a 10. Oh Man! BAD BEAT FOR DA JINX! Oh well, I kept my cool and eventually got back to even with him, in which we just agreed to split it, as I was getting tired and have a tourney to play at noon!
Good Night all and Good Luck! -

Nice job on the win as well as changing gears on your post from 3rd person to 1st.

Do we like to talk about ourselves?

If you get ranked does that mean your "quest" is a failure?
