Herby hasn't gotten too far out of line, and I have elcubain tagged as the weakest player at the table. I believe im far and away the best player and don't want to risk most of my stack in a marginal spot.
so good fold? or itty bitty nitty committee? -
I don't really like it, only way I even think about folding it is if ElCubain has been extremely tight.
-
Too much action for jacks. I would need great reads to call here or have a great image to push.
-
I like this fold actually...probably nitty but so f'n what!
-
shove those hooks in their face
-
its a good fold
-
my image was pretty garbage too
-
Normally I think its a good fold. But considering its a $5 tourney and where the players are from (Euro) I shove.
-
Ya if your image is garbage this is def. a fold just becuase you probably cant even get these donks to lay down AQ and your so deep that you have plenty of time to pick these children apart...
-
also 2 shorties 2 think about
-
Ask yourself, "What's my play if I don't fold?"
If you call, what happens if original raiser repops...you get the train of thought.
If you reraise, how much? Do you push? How do you handle another raise by the orginal raiser or reraiser?
If you fold, why are you folding? Can you narrow the villains down to atleast one overpair, or are you putting them on AK-KQ?
If you cannot put them on an overpair, then obv you push here and try to pick up the pot one of two ways, they fold or you win a showdown.
Not knowing anything more about the villains, I don't mind a fold or a push here. I think the only bad plays are the call and the non-push reraise. Maybe someone can run the math on the +EV -EV-ness of these plays.
Comments?
Nice FT btw! -
Also key is how much restealing has been going on? Esp by Elclubain...
Thing is AA is still only llike 60% against 2 random hands, not that I would also fold AA but you can't expect to win a lot of show downs with JJ in a 3 way all in. So you need to know that IR is folding - and sweat out at least 1 over if elclubain calls. Which is why I think mucking what is most likely the tiny fav is best here. -
I take you posted because the when they turned over their cards you had them beat?
I like the fold too. Just save it for later. -
Jack, no cards were exposed here is how the hand played out
http://www.pokerxfactor.com/SH96365/...0071112_100614
if you cant see the replayer, Herby called, flop came AK10 and went check check, turn herby checked again and Cubain bet, herby folded
so after this i put cubain on KK or AA and herby on 99 -
NEVER FOLD JACKS! PLAY THEM UNTILL YOU ARE BROKE!
But seriously, I honsestly don't have any problem with the fold. I can see either point for shoving or folding here. -
At the very least you should be calling the RR and playing a flop. I most likely reraise him again as he is a weak player like you said and could have a wide range here. I say itty bitty nitty committee chairman.
EDIT: just noticed you werent the original raiser. In this case I still think you should be shoving over the top and trying to isolate elcubain or wtv the fuck his name is. -
no debate. fold.
