    A few months back there were a bunch of threads about multi accounting,ghosting, buying accounts etc... I didnt know anything about this stuff up until i read the threads. Being an honest mtt grinder i was pissed at all the shady stuff going on. I took away form it that JJ prodigy was like the king of online poker cheating.

    Its possible some of the stuff was speculation and whatnot so i still dont really know what goes on in the big mtt's. I still hear JJ's name brought up fairly often in diff threads and just talking with friends and being at random online tables. Anyways who is this mysterious JJ Prodigy and what is he up to? Is he really as much of a force behind the scenes in the circle of shady online poker doings? Anyone that knows anything about him please post. Im just interested in this character and would like to know more about JJ and his past.

    short timeline of events i remember.

    he used to be a regular poster here and was also a mod over at 2p2. basically, he got caught for multi-accounting in the sunday tourney he won and then people also found out that he was underage via his myspace.

    i personally never would have suspected he was underage, since he always conducted himself in an extremely mature manner. however, some people expected so since he never entered any satellities into live tournaments.

    i've gone back and read some of his archived posts at 2p2, and some are insightful. i didn't really have the opportunity to watch him play very much, but based on everybody else's knowledge, he's truly a poker prodigy.

    someone was saying that PCA will be his first live tourney.

    My post was made exacty for what it looked like. Just lookin for some info on the mysterious JJ prodigy. Not jealous of him at all dont know anyhting about him hence the "mysterious"

    As for you plattsburgh your a fuckin chump go fuck urself.

    It's been so long [Like a year and a half now?] since it happened, it's hard to remember all the details. He won the PartyPoker Sunday tourney under a name that was "ABlackCar" or something like that. GBMantis made a thread on here saying it was him and congratulating him unaware that the JJProdigy name was also signed up for the tournament. After an investigation by party poker and 1-2 other sites, most of his money was confiscated from the other sites and all of the money he made in the PartyPoker tournament as well. He's been on the downlow since I believe...

    I think you have multi-accounting and backing confused to the extreme. I've met Platts and he's for sure not JJ Prodigy. That is, unless JJ Prodigy matured in an unnatural way to look like a 26ish year old.

    1) JJProjigy cheated in online poker.

    2) He used the same method of cheating that MANY of the top players used at the time and many probably still do (see Ganks post on UB)

    3) JJProdigy is just that...a poker prodigy. He is an increadible player. Period. He cheated, and that was wrong and he was chastised for it (as he should be), but that doesnt take away that he was/is probably one of the best players in the world.

    JJ prodigy is one of the biggest cheaters in the history of online tournaments. He cheats pretty much constantly and completely unapologetically. People lump him in with zeejustin but hes not really comparable at all, the amount of multiaccounting he does still crushes anything zj ever did.

    And almost nobody has any real clue just how good JJ is exactly. JJ plays on so many different accounts all the time that almost nobody ever knows who he is. The only information people get about how good JJ is when his friends come in and post constantly about how hes a god. And the fact he mentored imperium or whatever is over blown. Without a huge amount of dedication and natural talent imperium would never have made it to where he did no matter what coaching he had. So while iam sure JJ helped him he didnt make imperium the player he is today.

    Back when he was playing on JJprodigy and then some of the accounts that were more well known I always thought he was a good player but overrated. But that was nearly a year ago and considering how young he is he could have improved into the best player in the world for all I know, but virtually nobody knows for sure just how good he is now.

    I never compared my game to yours, I think the numbers will do that just fine- what I am saying is you are jelous, anyone who wants to look up your post count can see you have many threads you have created and responded to about JJ prodigy. When someone takes this much vested interest in someone its because they are either obsessed with them, or jelous of them. In this case its the latter.

    As far as JJ's talent level is concerned, I think he would probably ranked in the top 15-20 if he was somehow unbanned from the sites and put in 6 months of volume...I think its a little unrealistic to say that without a doubt hes the best MTT player in the world.

    All I know about him is that he cheated. How good that made/makes him I really don't know. Guess we won't find out for awhile. We really can't call him one of the best can we?
