  1. Can be for any reason. Amount of money lost, spot, %, embarrassment of getting outplayed. What is the worst hand of your life?

For me the hand that bothers me the most is when I folded QQ preflop to 2 raises at the 1k sun mil final table. Just will never know.

Not too happy about the dry beating my 88 with AJ on na 877 flop.

Losing the main event to a 3 outer on the river hurt.

I'll go with the QQ hand cause might be like a 500,000 "mistake"

  5. I will cliff note this one.

    Live game MTT

    I have pocket tens

    I flop quad tens.

    gets all in vs AA

    Ace on turn

    Ace on river

    Beer on floor

    Sandman out the door.
  6. On the real, borgata deep stack last hand of day 1. I did not know this was hoodini10 at the time, but he was sitting with about 35 bigs I believe and I had a healthy stack over probably near 100 bigs. He raised in mp button called and I flatted with 99 in the big blind. Board came 8 hi rainbow and i donk bet out close to pot with a plan of jamming over a raise. Hoodini raised and button folded, I tanked and mucked showing 99 only to be shown AJ off. Pwned I ended up final tabling this tourney so it didn't hurt that bad

  7. 1 outters happen, but at this point in my poker career I think my BR was ~$2000 and I think first in this tourny was more than $14K. Do'h. 10th place sucks

  8. My first and so far only WSOP event in my life

    PLO8 vs Mel Judah

    He limps UTG

    I pot with AAKK

    Folds around, he calls

    Flop A 8 3

He checks, I pot, he snap-raises all in (less than my bet), I call

    He shows A297 :S

    Turn 4, river 5

my KK against AQ off .. flop K72 .. turn 10 .. river J ... & he goes on to TID

    &

GG me =[ .. been on lifetilt ever since

  10. oh ok.. then these come to mind..

losing TT on T44 flop (all money in at flop/turn) to 43o (4 on river) - lost 1600 pot playing online on 3/6.

lost KK on AJ7 flop (all money in at flop) to 35o (running 2,4) - lost 1500 pot playing live at Vegas. You'll puke if I tell you who was donking off chips at the table with 35o.
  11. Heads up on UB - 1 seat to 2006 WSOP Main Event. Have about a 60/40 chip lead - no prize for second. $12,000 or nothing. There are maybe 60 BB in play.

In SB - I raise 3x with ATo - he flats.

    Flop T 4 3 - I cbet for 70% of pot - he shoves and I snap call.

He turns over KQ, turn K, river blank. I lose maybe 3 hands later.

    ---------
For a small stakes player like myself (this was a $33 freezeout) - this is an ultimate nightmare.

  12. 3 handed at the FT of a Paradise 250k monthly...it's been really aggressive. I choose to limp AK from the button (mistake #1), expecting a raise. Flop comes K96, and I choose to give Pharlap a small bet to encourage a check-raise out of her. Instead, a 10 hits the turn, and her 87 makes the straight and knocks me out $40k short of where I could/should have been. $23k is nice. $65k is better.

Honestly, pretty much every time I get too greedy for a large pot, over a more comfortable smaller pot...those are my worst spots.

  13. FT of the $750k, my AT vs villains 7s (I think), AIPF, blank board... That was kinda disappointing! Bye, bye, potential $130k+!
  14. Definitely this. 12 Left in the WCOOP Championship

  15. not sure for myself but the worst beat I ever put on someone was vs Roothlus on a FT bubble...

Q4o vs QQ on T66r flop
  16. That fucking sucks Riskky.... Wasnt that the asshole that got caught cheating too??
  17. 23 left in the sun mill in dec
    im 5/23 have roughly 5.5mil

    utg jams 1.4mil (11bb roughly)
i flat with AA utg +2 button jams 5.7mil bb tank folds AK (said later)
i call utg has AJo button has KK

    J 5 6 K x

would have had roughly 13mil when 2nd at the time would have had 7mil...sigh still haunting me

  18. After thinking my worst is prolly beind 2 of 5 in FTP 1k gettin 3 outed by the scumbag fratboy247 AK<AT then losing AKss vs 99 to scott montgomery for all the chips the next hand not brutal beats, but I am owed some skalansky bucks 100k for first i get 25k or something and instead out of make up I'm burried
  19. Standard hand, but it still sucks.

$500 Venetian deep stack FT with 7 left. First gets 30% of the pool and $95k. I'm CL w/ about 40 bbs. I'm OTB with TT and ship it in vs a raise from the guy who's 3rd in chips and who has about 24 BB's or so. Everyone else was sitting around 10-20 bb's. He tanks for about 2 minutes and call's with AK. Flop missed the AK, and the guy to my left prematurely says, "nh." The king obviously fell on the turn right when he got done saying it

Biggest FT I've been at, and biggest race I've been in. If i won the hand, I woulda been crushing the table and had something like 3x that of 2nd place chips.

  20. prolly have to say my only WSOP event so far. event #4 $1,000 buy in 9hrs 52mins into day one i shove 1010 from middle position and get called by AKo and he rivers the A, if i would have won i could have folded a couple hundred spots more the next day to cash.

just sucks cuz it was biggest buy in by far for me but definitely not a bad beat.
  21. I won a $75 satellite chip on Tilt and played one of their $75 tourneys. It was like 400 people and first place was $5,000, something like that. I've never won more than $1,000 at once. Anyways, right before the first break I picked up QQ and the flop was Q109 and I got it all in on the flop vs 2 other people (one of which was USCPhildo). Phildo had 1010 and the other guy had 99, we all flopped a set. I was in 1st place at the first break and felt fortunate for that hand and felt like I actually might have a chance to win some real money.

5 minutes later the power went dead. The whole town of Grand Rapids and everyone I knew lost power and I had no way of getting back on the internet. I had the whole night to think "what if" in the fucking dark with nothing else to do while every hand thereafter got folded. I still almost made the money (4 away) even though the money was 3 hours later and I never played another hand.

    Shit happens.
  22. This was on the FT bubble of some micro donkament quite a while ago, but the beating was by far the worst and the most unjust, and my $200 BR at the time really needed that first 4-figure score. Anyway, I raise with KK in middle position, button flats. Flop comes AK7 rainbow. I check, villain fires a pot-sized bet, I raise 3x, he shoves, I call. His hand? Ace phuckin four off-suit! Turn - Ace, river - Ace, me - shopping at computer store for new mouse, as old one was ripped from laptop and heaved from 21st floor.
  23. either bust out hand from the main event when i was 21 and was forced to play cause i played a live sat where i just wanted lammers. Raise pre with 180k to 20k at 4k/8k. Button calls, old dude in sb jams 200k. I hate my life (such a nit lol) and call, button folds. Sb shows Q8o. Flop 8 turn 8. Was like 260 people left with each pay jump being huge, also just missed being tv table.

Other hand possible would be at ft of sunday mill last year 6 handed, lost QQ < A4s aipf for the chip lead

  24. the 1st and only time i ever satted n2 the 1k at AP. i got AA allin pre vs AQ. the flop rolls out QQx, turn Q...lol. obv drawin dead to the river.. fun times

not aloud to tell brutal hand stories imo based on ur escapades at the wcoop ft :)
  26. playin a 25p/50p cash game at uni, everyone had at least 75. I have somethin like 90 and this eastern European guy has about the same. I pick up QQ and raise, he re-raises (super loose guy so no worries about KK/AA) and i call. flop is 10-3-4rainbow. He raises, i re-raise, he shoves i call...he has J-9s (wtf?!). turn J, river 9....nh lol

though he told me a couple of weeks later that since that hand he hadnt won a flip or pot of any decent size lol and i took pleasure in spankin his ass in the tournament we played!!
  27. Was on my way to a 55r FT and got dealt QQ had a solid stack too.

Raised it up and BB calls.

Flop is like 27Q rainbow one Diamond.

Guy checks I fire and he snap shoves.

I call with the flopped nutz and he flips over 63 of diamonds so he has 6 high vs my QQQ

    Turn D
    River D

    GG

Tied for 1st place worst hand ever was the 150 I played on stars...

Chip leader basically whole way to 30ish left.

Get dealt AK ace spades. in BB

Button raises me up and I rr back. He smooths.

Flop drops 3 low spades. I fire he smooths.

turn = low card so I move em all in.

He snap calls with AQ q of spades.

River = super obv. Queen for gg instead of CL.
  28. 1st ever hand on my first ever sng on stars.

dont remember hand details but result was nut full house < royal flush

Welome to the site young man!
  29. i love my thread

  30. fun thread

i was HU with cunningham in a 5k circuit event starting with a 3.5:1 CL. couple hands in i live misclicked and bet 200k into a 170k pot instead of 100k. ended up pricing me in to his shove, i doubled him up and he proceeded to own me until he won. difference from first to second was 250k.

also lost ak < kt aipf for the chip lead at a wsop FT with 6 left, ended up finishing 5th :(
