  1. Just got a program for my mac to track vpip, flops seen, and raise%. What should i be looking for?
  2. numbers
  3. This is a very brief incomplete, imperfect synopsis:

Use VPIP to determine how tight or loose someone is.

High VPIP (30%+ at a full ring game) is very loose, while low VPIP (15%- at a full ring game is very tight.

Use PFR% to determine how aggressive someone is.

PFR% of at least 75% of what the VPIP is indicates a good level of aggressiveness. Someone with less than 70% of their VPIP is opening pots for limps too often.

    Examples using VPIP/PFR%:

14/11 : TAG, tight player who usually brings in for a raise. Dangerous player.

28/23 : LAG, loose player who usually brings in for a raise. Dangerous player.

14/6 : Weak-tight. Tight player who usually only raises premium hands but limps the rest of his range. These are good to have at your table.

38/10 : Loose passive. Loose player who will take a flier and limp with a wide range of hands, but only raises the strong ones. This is your $$$$$$.

    Hope that helps!
