    Seems Calvin was tired of his cocky personality and told him that he did not fit into the Bodog plans.

    Anmyone else heard the news?

    My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with a girl who saw Jamie pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

    I am 99.9% sure this is correct info as it came from a source at Bodog.

    I am not sure if anyone else agrees, but Jamie Gold has always looked like an ass every time I have seen him on TV or in person.

    why the hell would bodog fire jamie gold, who cares what his personality is like, he can be a huge promotor for that site after winning the world series of poker. before you know it, pokerstars will probably approach the guy and tell him he played on pokerstars, and now they have 4 straight champions in a row. thats what happened to joe hachem, he rarely played ther on pokerstars before he won the wsop.

    Why would they fire him? If his personality and actions are deemed detrimental to the site, of course BoDog would send him packing. If there are more Jamie Gold haters rather than supporters amongst the general public, then why would they want him as a representitive of their site?

    Jamie Gold just isn't a likeable guy, his arrogance and undeserved feeling of self-worth rubs the majority of people the wrong way.

    Jamie Gold is worst thing to happen to poker since...I can't think of anything worse for poker.

    Did anybody see him pull out the preplanned bowl of blueberries on poker after dark? What a joke. He made Moneymaker look like a class act. Moneymaker did play excellent also. Gold has very few tricks. He uses bully tactics that only left him to be trapped for all his chips.

    Yeah, the whole "Eating the blueberries while busting out" then shaking hands while still holding the bowl agitated me to no end. Once again, just one of those guys where every one of his actions tends to rub people the wrong way.
