not sure what you were scared of on the flop honestly, i like a bet of at least 1/2 pot there... i dont see how this is a bad flop for you really at all, and if he has kk/aa i believe he would let you know with a reraise with that flop
villains flat on the turn for some reason has me thinking 88
i agree you have to lead the river here, although check calling isnt terrible if you have a good read on villain as some sort of tricky/trappy player
kind of weird line though overall -
yeah thats what i thought but the villian is someone i recognize as a reg and with his stack and just a cold call AA or KK is the only hand that makes sense for him. so at that point am i shipping in no matta what because of the small satck size and ma hand strength

Jesus you have 17000 chips at 50/100 and he has 4000. How can you be this timid versus this opponent.. So what if you stack him off. Just from a metagame point of view. Im going to bully someone I have outstacked 4 to 1. Bet Bet Bet Bet.. Man Up

lol i know and i did and he min raised all to which i happily called and he happily showed his AA. thing is on turn i thought he had AA or KK just from the hand dynamics, so i still put it in? its a sucky feeling to feel you have to stak even when you think your beat. but i did bet river lol

I don't know you or your game but if the reason you posted this is b/c he had AA then you need to think harder. Your not an idiot b/c he showed u AA and you wldnt be a genius if he tabled JJ. You state that u felt he had AA but you didn't say that in your post. WHy do u think he had AA? Is he capable of 3 betting u pre to 800 with JJ or worse? wld he raise more with AK or flat? If you want serious answers you have to give us some detail. As played with no info and stack sized I am either 4 betting him/ calling his shove pre or as u played it lead/ calling flop.

i felt he could have 1010 up with AK or even an AQ but nothin worse. on the flop i check to him, but what kinda trips me up is he simply checks behind with like 4000 in chips. at this point i felt i was dealin with AA KK JJ (prolly not the other two QQs)but the turn i bet 800 cuz i have lots of chips and wanted to know where i was at with my QQ. what is weird is he simply calls 800 with like 3000-3500 left. river is another blank. so im sittin there wonderin what the hell plays like this and i simply thought AA KK or possible JJ but i concluded i have QQ on a weak board am i gonna fold to anything here and i thought not when i have so much in and he has only a few left. there were two hands he could have that beat me imo and one i could beat JJ maybe two if he has 1010 so bet and he min raises all in and i call that and he spits out AA. -
This response will be censored, but, what the hell:
HOW 'BOUT YOU POST THIS IN HAND ADVICE!!!!!!!!!! -
yeah i got the chips in cuz i couldnt fold it imo and he was kind enough to turn over AA. fact is the way it played out it looked like a blatant AA or KK situation but he had so few chips compared to me and i still had a relatively powerful hand that i decided i had to do it. coulda laid it down but i decided to be bone headed
