I will no longer be playing on the screen name "mjorgenson13" on FTP. I have not been banned or caught cheating or anything of the sort, the screen name just was not in my name and FTP expressed that they would prefer me play on my real name account "the guru 11," and I said that was fine by me. I asked them if my buddy Michael Jorgenson and I both agreed, if we could have the name on "mjorgenson13" changed to my real name and "the guru 11" changed to his name or shut down completely, unfortunately they said that this was impossible.
The reason I'm making this public is because when people don't see me playing on Full Tilt for a while they will assume I was banned for cheating and I don't want to be falsely accused of multi-accounting and have my name lumped in with the laundry list of people who have already been caught.
Once again I would like to say that although I had possession of two accounts I pretty much never used my real name account and I certainly never entered them both in the same tournament, in fact I pretty much never entered MTTs on my real name account, only sattelites, in which I never entered my "mjorgenson13" account for obvious reasons. -
yes...why didnt you play on your own real name??????????
would you mind if we happened to check both accts databases to see if they happened to be in the same game? -
and is there a reasonable explination for WHY you had to do this? like why you weren't playing under your own name?

Well, If it's no one's business, why post it anyway. just stirs the pot if you don't reply.
You start a thread....you finish a thread :) -
Are you kidding?..i mean u cant be serious...of course this is our bussiness...I think hes trying to do the right thing by being upfront with his situation..but lets not be naive here...
There arent too many reasons why you would open up 2 accounts and play under someone elses name.. If its for rakeback..then thats fine..but it would be nice if he alluded to that -
he has talked with FTP about this issue, FTP does not allow MA, I am sure they investigated the situation....if they have no problem, neither should you....get a grip fellas

^^^ Good point.

Some of you ppl spend way too much energy & time worrying/thinking about what the internet poker "community" thinks of you

The reason I didn't use my real name account was because a while back my firepay account was hacked and back in the day Full Tilt had a policy that when you shut down your deposit source onto the site they shut down your account as a precautionary measure. So I didnt have my account for a long time, and just got into the swing of playing on Mjorgenson, I had had some nice scores, built an image against the cash game regulars that I liked, and also against the tourney regulars. Also, I ran pretty well on it :).

Menlo, do you think it would be a problem to play on my account for a little bit and send some of that karma my way????? ; )
Edit: this is a joke. Can't be too careful anymore. -
if you don't believe that I never multi accounted its not very hard to check the poker db.
