    Just made first deposit on stars today, and unreal the crap that is happening to me? Everytime I've gone into the all in as favorite and people are getting 3 outers and 2 outers. I go back and analyze my play and dont see what i coulda down differently. Like i get QQ first hand of tourney. I reraise preflop and get one caller. flop comes like 937 and guy bets and i raise all in he calls with aj and hit ace on river. Could i have done anything different?

    I only had like 100 more than the 3x raise it was first hand! And i've played UB it is by far worst site

    What stakes are you playing? Are these $1, $2, $5 dollar tournies or are they $15-60 buy in entries? I find that at the lower stakes the variance seems to be stronger and your seeing more bad beats because more donks are willing to gamble because it's not a lot of money.

    I keep telling myself it's crap but the more it happens the more I think it's reality that it DOES happen more on stars. Reason could be the larger amount of idiots on the site b/c of the larger amount of low limit games and the larger number of people who use the site. I feel like I suckout more on stars than anywhere else too.

    I'm not saying bad beats don't happen anywhere else, but it seems to happen all the time on stars where on my FTP account I'm more than twice as successful playing the same games.

    You have played UB

    but it is not in your profile

    UB has the best tournament structure on the net.

    My gues is you heard some people bash their support which they should. But you have never really played on a tourney there.

    and the poker db says no match

    Give them a look. It is a great tourney site.

    I've been taking it ridiculously and routinely in the chin on FTP for a while now...I'm sure it's variance and I have a good run coming at some point...lol. stars has been ok for me, I guess. I actually have had the most "luck" on Bodog, believe it or not, since they're usually considered to have the weakest players...or it seems that way to me.
