  1. To those of us that play often, especially those of us that have no other source of income, it seems at times we can do nothing right. For three weeks, I was unable to make a hand I could win a meaningful pot with, but flopped the nuts only to be drawn out on numerous times. During times like these it's important to remember that if we won all the time, soon noone would play with us. I'm happy to add that I began ending my losing streak on Saturday morning, winning party's $5 rebuy for $1650; on Monday, came in second in the midnight $30 rebuy for $4225; and just now finished 3rd in the same rebuy for $2535. Regardless of how grim things look... good flops and better turns are just around the corner, and until then, keep the faith.
  2. thanks for telling us the amount you won, very relevant. GG not very well hidden brag post. The advice is sound but anyone with a clue knows about variance. Sorry but im in a non tolerable mood. GFY. -youngun.
  3. Well thanks for being an ass.

  10. Even if this is a brag post, who cares. I like seeing these sort of posts. We all have some bad strings. After having a few bad beats, it's nice to know that there are players who are better than me on far worst streaks right now, and they are working through them (or just getting out of them).

It seems really obvious, but once you have a few bad beats and then catch yourself doing a really stupid play, it's really easy to think you've completely lost whatever skill you had. You haven't, but I think every one of these posts help someone out there.
  11. you only ran bad for 3 weeks?
try 2 months and see how you are feelin then.....
jk cards run both directions....just have to survive to see the other side.
  12. Great Job Raisor! You have to stay positive when you are on a bad streak. Keep building on your recent success.

    Peace!

  13. i just came back from a little over a one week break after running bad all month of june

first day back and i played 7 tournies

    made final 2 tables in 4 of them (200, 200, 350, 950 person fields)

    and finished (10,12,14,17)
