I have seen this come up a lot. Who the hell is Marco Liesy on FTP.Marco Liesy just made the FTP pro team. For those who never heard of him he was Kill-Bill on paradise poker. He was ranked back in late 2005 early 2006 and requested to be moved of rankings because he felt the way players were ranked at the time was mostly political. He was removed from the rankings and dissapeared from the online community.
Marco Liesy crused online for years then decided to play live and mostly cash games. Now that he has a great deal with FTP he will be playing a lot more MTT and cash online. Marco is one of the nicest players I have met and very friendly. He was one of the original online grinders before it blew up to what it is today. -
Yeah this kid can play...Marco actually stayed with me this summer for 40 some odd days during the WSOP out in Vegas. The first time i ever met Marco was at paradise poker and soon after i met him in person at the EPT baden last fall in Austria. Hes been around the game for a long long time as his father was also a professional in Germany for many years. He recently had his profile wiped out of his scores because he had to change his name from "DRUNKENSTYLE" to Marco Liesy on FTP for obv reasons..=) Just so everyone knows not every "unknown" in red on FTP is a clown...this kid can play poker, and is also one of the coolest and friendliest ppl ive ever meet playing poker.
