I was going to raise pre,but it was the first hand,so I just wanted to see the flop and go from there.I think I should of let this go on the turn. What do you think,do you go broke here,or do you let this one go?
  2. Well, I don't like your reasoning for not raising pre. You have a big hand, so what if its the first hand, you aren't guaranteed another one of these anytime soon. Plus, you were willing to go broke with the hand anyway, why not see if your good.

Also, you think your good on the flop, why not reraise there, make it about 1200 to go, even if you didn't reraise pre, when he comes over the top of you right there, maybe you get away from it for only half of your stack.

For the record, even though it isn't much, I hate the river reraise. The spade hit, potential straights, could be up against a set. You aren't way ahead here, why throw all your chips in. Save your 591 when your beat, and try to make a comeback, you still have time even if you are way behind.
  3. Thanks for the comment,well said,thats exacty what i should I've done.T

  4. uhhhhh. yikes.

I reraise pre to like 240+ and see what villian does. If he reraises me I make the decision to either fold or push. AK sooted? I'm probably pushing most of the time even if it's the 1st hand.

With how you played it I guess its okay calling it down all the way especially by the time the river hits and you have 2pair. Folding the turn wouldn't make sense if you're calling his flop bet because the 8 changes nothing. It's not a bad card in any way. I actually think you should reraise his flop or turn bet and push allin if you're going to committ yourself to this hand.
