And now gettign spewy bit later:
How could i have avoided the disaster? Shoving the turn...but i didnt want to scare him off ; the problem is, i didnt put him on that draw cause if i did i would have checked called the river. Now that i analyze it again i realize the raise with the draw really makes sense.. Sometimes i just donk off chips with no reason

  2. First hand with around 17 BB's I think is def a call.

Second hand..I think you should shove after his min raise on the flop. At that point he has put over 1/3 of his chips in...He isn't folding.
  3. How can you put him on the draw on the second hand? He hit runner runner hearts and there was only 1 on the flop. It's just unlucky that he hit there. I would most likely either reraise on the flop (since he pretty much committed himself) or put him in on the turn (though he's definitely not going anywhere after he turns the draw with top pair).
  4. yeah i didnt pay attention; he raised the flop i couldnt put him on the flush; yeah it wasnt the time for a slowplay; all in at the flop was the only way to make him fold ; ty

  5. Sure its time for a slowpay. That is one of the best possible flops for you. A lot of times people will throw out that min raise for pot control. Its because they have a weakish hand and don't want to pay for their draws or to find out they are behind. This allows them to still fold, losing the least amount of chips if you play back at them. This was just unfortunate that he caught runner runner. You are an enormous favorite to almost every hand on that flop, so i think you did fine. You could have bet the turn where you were still favorite, but hes probably not getting away from that hand. That's good though because you were still in the lead. Think about it this way, if you know he is on a flush draw, you still want him calling, but you just want to charge him for it.
