LAPC -where to stay?

    looks like the hotel at commerce is sold out for the ME, which blows because i sleep late and would hate worrying about traveling, but i guess i have no choice.

    whats close and easy to get to commerce?

    we're at embassy suites at downey... works out good except for the mystery shuttle. apparently it runs from 7 am to 2:30 pm so it'll get you to the commerce but not back to the hotel. cabs back have been running $15-$20+ tip

    you can stay at my house brotha, i live in newport (30 min drive to commerce)...though a bunch of chicas rolled thru so were gonna be having orgies instead of poker tournaments....maybe just stay at pokerjamers on second thought. lemme know

    My buddy & I got here this morning & have been playing all day, we went to the front desk @ 1:40am & got a room no problem. They actually cut us a really good deal, just get here & go to the front desk

    he neglected to tell you that crystal park is in the middle of the city of compton, right next to compton city college. not trying to create or further stereotypes, but crystal park HAS had problems with violence and what not in the past. f.y.i

    you may wanna try the sheraton in cerritos. it's only about 15 minutes from the commerce. much nicer than downey lo-cals, imo.

    i would, but then it would suck real bad to end up with no room if the place i booked at gets full.. lol.
