  1. stars announced the Latin America Poker Tour today which is great to see. FYI, for those americans interested in the LAPT in Rio, get to work on a passporte and visa soon. If you do not have a passporte, getting it and a visa will take about a month, especially if you do not live close to a brazilian consulate and have to mail in. And considering the tourney is about a month and half a way, its cutting it close. But its definitly worth it to go. Amazing place.
  2. I'm a US citizen and already have a passport, you saying i still need to get a visa though? This tourney sounds cool and ive heard great things about Rio de Janeiro... so visa required? thnx - YS
  3. Yes a visa is required for US citizens. Brazil does the reciprocity thing when it comes to visas...if your country requires it for their citizens, they require it for your citizens

    • Why has the LAPT tournament fee been waived for LAPT Rio?
    • As the Brazilian government imposes a 30% tax on all tournament winnings, the LAPT is waiving its $200 tournament fee for LAPT Rio.
