Sorry to ask this guys but I don't really know much about computers. I'm looking at buying a new laptop and price is a pretty big issue (looking to spend ~1k) I really like the dell inspiron line so far in my research.
I am trying to decide between the 14, 15 and 17 inch models.
The different screen resolutions are 1280/800, 1680/1050, 1440/900 from what I understand you need 1600/? to 4 table without overlap. Which of the above options is the 'best screen' Ie the biggest screen resolution?
Which of these computers is best as I really don't know much about them. I will be using the computer for poker, browsing web, email, instant messeng, watch dvds, spreadsheets etc.
I would really appreciate any help no matter how simple and obvious it may seem, thank you.

You don't realy need 1600 to 4 table. I have a 1280 and it is fine. Check out 2plus2 the have a tech section that goes over this stuff in detail. and check out www.cheapstingybargains.com it is the nuts for tech deals.
