  1. Im thinking about getting another computer.......could i possibly find a laptop under 500 bux that would work just fine for playing online poker...I know absolutely nothing about computers so any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
     
  2. yes definitely, u dont need anything special, wat do u plan on using it for??

    if u intend on masstabling anything then dont, but otherwise u shouldnt have a problem
  3. Yes, but the screen would probably be small. Not sure what you are currently used to.
  4. i have a desktop now....i just need something for when i feel like sittin on the couch....i usually only four table...most of the time its two or three...so i wont be mass tabling....i do want to use it for Itunes though...you guys have any suggestions?

  5. well i just have a standard HP laptop and it 4tables with no overlap so basically anything should fit ur requirements

  7. check craigslist. they have a ton of good deals on lap tops usually.
  8. i would love too if i were in portland.....but im in north dakota now...they dont do the craigslist thing....ill just go to best buy in the morning.

  9. Sorry no links but just stick with dual core 2.0+ghz (amd or intel, doesn't matter) and 2+ gigs of ram and a decent speed harddrive and you'll be able to do all you need including run your tracking software without a hitch. Fry's ad ftw.

  11. I bought one of those dell mini 9 netbooks and added a little stoarge space. Screen is only 8.9 inches but it has wireless a 1.8 ghz intel atom processor and Ive enjoyed it so far. Obviously if you want to run 16 tables + i tunes + 8- graphs it wont be your best option, but I got mine to travel with and its been preety relaible. These things run about 400-530. There is an asus version as well that has a rather large hardrive, but I believe only supports linix, so make sure you look into that.

    Is this set-up also ok for connecting a 24" 1920x1200 monitor? I also don't know much about computers, graphics cards, etc.
