Sorry no links but just stick with dual core 2.0+ghz (amd or intel, doesn't matter) and 2+ gigs of ram and a decent speed harddrive and you'll be able to do all you need including run your tracking software without a hitch. Fry's ad ftw.

I bought one of those dell mini 9 netbooks and added a little stoarge space. Screen is only 8.9 inches but it has wireless a 1.8 ghz intel atom processor and Ive enjoyed it so far. Obviously if you want to run 16 tables + i tunes + 8- graphs it wont be your best option, but I got mine to travel with and its been preety relaible. These things run about 400-530. There is an asus version as well that has a rather large hardrive, but I believe only supports linix, so make sure you look into that.

Is this set-up also ok for connecting a 24" 1920x1200 monitor? I also don't know much about computers, graphics cards, etc.
