  2. How to avoid in the future? DON'T! This guy really wanted to give you all of his chips, and will do so a lot of the time.
  3. I know, but still. Puke!

  4. run better

  5. What's up with that bet on the flop? 3100 into 4 ppl and you don't expect to be beaten?
  6. Does the amount that you bet factor into whether or not you get beaten? Think I missed that day at poker school.

  7. open shove pre.

  8. Silently click double rebuy next time
  9. what are you wanting to avoid? its a rebuy period, you got all in your chips in and got called by a worse hand.......nothing more you can do, you want these situations
    Bad beat.

You posted on a poker forum. If you don't want people to point a critical eye in your direction, don't post.

As played, you got your money in very well. That is the goal at any time in a poker tournament. Don't stress about this one and, like someone else said, silently click on double rebuy, then add-on and go about your business.

  11. shove pre. /thread

This not that it matters you still get called and lose a race, but just shove it in pre. Doubel rebuy add on move on to after the break
  13. you will have more success in poker the second you stop thinking/posting/crying about bad beats.

what type of advice are you looking for here?

  14. Thought I would clear something up here as several of you have posted about it. The second that this hand was over, the rebuy period was over. I don't know if we were the very last table playing before the rebuy period ended, but I did not have any opportunity to double rebuy. Let me make this cearly: there was no option to rebuy displayed on my screen or under the menu that pops up when you click the chip tray. I did of course, take the add-on. My tournament came to an end when AA < A3 (the tournemant chip-leader) aipf for 1/2 his stack. Nope, not a straight. He had the three of diamonds and ended up with a diamond flush (I had AsAh).

This is all made funnier by this, the tournament I JUST finished up:

AA < K8os (who had bet UTG+1 and then called my raise preflop) after I shoved all-in on a flop of KT3 rainbow. Yep, she found an 8 on the river. This was less than 100 players from the money and would have given me 3.7X the average chipstack.

It's fun to think that you start winning more situations like this when you change your attitude.

    Logic FTW.

I really come into threads hoping to be informative and helpful, and then you post stuff like this when a good player is basically telling you your attitude towards the game stinks and you need to reevaluate your thought processes.
