late middle of 6k guarantee - fold or shove flop?

    blinds are 60/120 in 6k guaranteed. i have AA on hijack and folded to me. I make it 300, only BB calls. flops 678 rainbow, BB leads 600, what do i do? i put him in mid-small pairs and since i'm not committed in any way, is it an easy fold? or just flat and see turn? maybe shove flop? no information on him other than he's been semi-tight.

    Can you post entire HH? There is important info missing (stack sizes, etc.)

    i dont have the HH, but before i raised preflop i had a little over 3k had and he had 4k

    Ok. So pot is 660 on the flop and the BB bets 600 on a 678 rainbow flop and the pot is now 1260.

    You can rule out 45 and 910 as well as 66-88 as nobody is taking the lead and betting the pot with those hands. That means maybe 55 or 99 and he's betting the mid-pair and straight draw or something like A7, A8, 89, 810, etc that gives him pair or pair + draw. Also TT+ as well as 67, 68 or 78. Against those ranges, I'm jamming the flop.

    i also thought he had some kind of a draw and decided to call the 700 hoping he doesnt improve on the turn and push there. obv the way you put it, calling is the worst move possible... and i agree, was a mistake. why give him that chance... and of course turn is a horrible card for me, 9. He shoved and i folded after which he showed me 55. it turned out ok to fold but i think what you said is right. so in his shoes would you have folded 5s there if i pushed on the flop?

    and I never fold 55 there.. I probably checkraise if I have 55
