  1. Why did the registration period for the low SCOOP Stud event go so much shorter than other events? Is there some reasoning behind this or is it totally arbitrary? It would be nice to know for future events exactly how much time I have to register.
  2. I already posted this and was called an idiot basically, so be prepared. I guess some p5ers agree with stars policy of having different rules each day.

  3. They called you an idiot for unregistering. Obviously pokerstars can do whatever the fuck they want as gay at it is.
  4. im at work, but could it possibly be that they had registration open for x-number of blind levels, and since the blind levels are different lengths at each entry level, the (L) closed first?

    shot in the dark bruh
  5. Here's what i got when i got pissed and emailed them about the 1 hour late reg in the $33 2 day event.

    Hello Robert,

Thank you for playing at pokerstars.

To answer your question, late registration has been available at
PokerStars for years. It is also available in tournaments in brick and
mortar poker rooms, as well as system known as alternates.

While someone may have risked their chips for a period of time before
someone else has entered the tournament, the player entering late has
given up the opportunity of collecting chips for that same period of time.

For all SCOOP events late registrant is available for up to one hour and
    works as follows:

In most tournaments, registration closes when the first player is
eliminated. However, in tournaments with late registration enabled, a
small percentage of seats are kept free for late registrants (even
after the first elimination). The number of seats made available for
late registrants is calculated based on the total number of seats
    occupied when the tournament starts.

For example, consider a multi-table tournament with late registration
enabled, 9 seats per table, and a reserved seat percentage of 20. If
there are 100 players registered at the time seating begins, then the
system will create enough tables to allow for the 100 players already
signed up plus 20% more... in this case 20 more players. 120 / 9 is
13.333, and thus 14 tables would be created.

Registration then closes after the last seat has been taken or when a
time limit has elapsed. New tables are not created for late
registration, and players are not permitted to re-join the tournament as
late registrants if they have already been eliminated.

Additionally, seats vacated by eliminated players during the late
registration period are not made available to late registrants.

Best of skill at the tables.

    Sincerely,

    Joan
