  1. When have you laid down/will you lay down KK before the flop in a normal tournament?

Have been thinking about this a little recently. I remember reading Roothlus's post from Atlantis how he correctly laid down KK on the first hand of the tournament, and later went broke with KK vs. AA. A few times recently I have had KK, had a strong read that my opponent has Aces but went broke anyways.

I play that I will always try to get all in pre flop with KK because of the willingness of donkeys to go broke with any pp or ace rag, or any good ace.

    What do you guys think?
  2. No way. It is a premium hand.....u gotta play it.

  3. hi ace - in the 80k big deal on pokerroom a couple weeks ago, i raised UTG and had about 6k, BOKE (yankee47) my bud goes all in for 13k 3 seats down. I knew what he had and typed in that i am not good enough to lay this down :) I caught a set...... I will never lay down kings preflop in an online tourney...... Playing Live? maybe, depending on the buy in
  4. i laid down kk preflop about a dozen times in 2005, and i was probably only right on 6 or 7 of those laydowns.

I really dont like the play at all. If you run into aces, you just gotta go down.

  5. F you, I got kings. You got Aces? I don't care. You don't have Aces? I don't care. F you, I got Kings.

I won't lay them down preflop.
