Both of them are "illegal" but that doesn't stop those of us who buy/smoke pot or log on to play the pokahs..
..but if only one of them can be nationally legalized and mandated in the US, which would you choose and why? -
Personally, I'd go with pot.I have much more $$ making potential with cannabis ventures than poker.
-
its like eating cereal without milk
-
poker because one day you will realize how pointless weed is
-
the undeniable medical properties of pot make this an ez choice.
-
DEFINITELY legalize the poker. I can continue to get my weed where I've been getting it, who cares if it's legal or not. Let Americans play on party poker again, that was one of the best sites ever!!!!
-
I'm not sure how this makes sense.
Just take a look at California and the blooming of the cannabis industry when prop 215 passed.
Sure, there's money making potential with it being illegal, but I personally don't like to get involved in endeavors that can get me jailed and/or deported (not a US citizen). -
I think Grapsfan knows the answer to this question.
-
I would legalize crack
-
obv legalize poker since in the end it hardly makes a difference whether bush is legal. what i mean is that its easier to blaze when its illegal than it is to play poker.

weed needs to be illegal for it to be this profitable of an industry. u think cali growers can charge 4000 a P or charge 65 an eighth for fire once its being mass produced? fuck no. and fwiw theres no way to legally mass profit off weed, even here in cali you'll get popped by feds if you get too big or too well known of a cannabis club, its only "legal" statewide

Move to Amsterdam. Both problems solved ;)
-
Sigh, I'm pretty freaking sure playing online poker is not "illegal"
-
Pretty sure the DEA/FEDS said that they were not going to be getting involved in Cali weed laws anymore.

Yeah, that ended once Obama took office. He said so long as you are following state laws/regulations, the Feds will not be involved anymore, which is definitely a step in the right direction.

I've smoked pot for 20 years. Never been busted or arrested. Never knew anyone busted for smoking weed. Sure, I know people harassed for smoking, but never jailed unless they were distributing or caught with narcotics.
Pot has been an ongoing losing battle like forever. Complete waste of time, resource and taxpayer money. Jesus, just fucking legalize it already, tax it and fix our education system, health system and debt.
Yet a MUCH more dangerous drug, alcohol, is mandated, mass produced, sponsored, promoted, etc.. and it holds absolutely no medical benefit other than to disassociate ourselves from our own faculties. so retarded...
But I digress..
My vote is to legalize poker. There are laws that criminalize smoking/possessing weed, but the "war" has been an abysmal failure.
If they passed the law, flicked the doom-switch, we're shit out of luck for internet poker, and that would seriously fuck with my pot budget. -
LOTS of clubs have been raided/shutdown since obama has been in office...
-
This is true, but most of those places were doing shady business anyway. I know, I'm right in the heart of it all...3 blocks away from OAKSTERDAM UNIVERSITY, where they teach you how to grow your trees the right way. I mean, like others have said, I've been smoking for over 10 years now, never been popped by the boyz or have any run ins at all for that matter. I continue to get the best CALI bud you can get, but I can only play on a select number of poker sites. LEGALIZE BOTH, I guess is what I'm trying to say, but if I had to choose one it'd definitely be POKER.
