  2. I don't see anything wrong with this hand. I wouldn't have folded either. You got unlucky. I like playing those type of hands in cash games.
  3. 89s UTG - yuck
checking thru a OESD flop - yuck
piddly raise on the turn when you hit - yuck
allowing the original preflop raiser to hit his four outer on the river and calling his check/raise - priceless.
  4. Great min raise on the river. Just be thankfull the retard with aces full did'nt put you all in.
You played it fine just got unlucky.
  5. i'm surprised he didn't, actually.

I ended up thinking about the river call for quite a while...even though it wasn't worth a lot...but worth enough to me.

As soon as he raised, my first thought was A-K (top 2 with top kicker), but as I thought about it more, I started to think of possible pockets, which explains my comment before i made the call.

  6. atleast you didn't buy in for full amount and after the hand you still had about 2.50 left
  7. LOL. TED, your comments will always be a constant inspiration for me....maybe an occasional thorn in my side....but inspirational nonetheless.

  8. yeah...i started with 10 and despite that big hit, I managed to recover a bit and cashed out with 6.

  9. No one makes a dollar at these low stakes. You both played it about as vaginally as possible. I cant image you losing less here or making less if he had missed. So amazing!
  10. ....and you think i'm down at these low stakes to make $$ quickly? I've got about $80 right now on stars....I actually shouldn't even be playing $0.10/0.25 NL.

If this hand was played vaginally....then with your great wisdom...explain how you would have played it....and I may take your opinion seriously.

  11. ^^^ dont listen to the idiots who say it's only $.10-.25. Whatever stakes your playing you should be focused 100% to play your best. Everybody has to start somewhere. 4 tabling $.25-.50 was very profitable for me years ago. I'm sure anybody with a basic concept of position can make a healthy profit.
  12. You aren't deep enough to play this hand UTG, fold preflop. Honestly, even if you had 100BB I would open fold this hand UTG full ring b/c of your poor position (if you feel obligated to play your suited connectors from early position, raise 3-4x). In position, I'd open raise, raise limpers or flat-call an early position raise (assuming relative stacks are appropriate) w/ this hand.

As played, I would bet 60-100% of the pot in position on the flop and go from there.
  13. yupro = Jen Tilly's SN on stars obv.
  14. somehow...for some reason...not sure why....i really doubt that.
