  1. Just a question ive always wanted answered.

Online mtt players have learned the game at a time when the amount of available tourneys is basically endless.

I thought about this when i was reading some post about how live pros are too tight, too scared, or just too cautious to mix it it up with AIPF betting.

Alot of these older pros learned there game when big buyins were few and far between. They had to to take into consideration allin bets might be there last tourney hand for sometime.{pre 2003 maybe weeks} This might have lead to their nit style. Players like Helmuth folding to shoves after investing half their stack might be conditioning he learned early on.

So my question: If you could only play one tourney a week would your style change?
  2. I think the structure of the tournament is more important than how often you would play it.

The live pros you speak of are playing deep stack tournies with very slow blind levels as opposed to the fast tournaments online.
