  1. nl holdem, ,15 n ,25 blinds. about even stacks of 35$. full ring table. 3callers and I limp from the BB with J9o. flop comes J 9 4 rainbow , SB bets half the pot and i call. rest folds. turn is K and SB bets half the pot, I raise the pot he goes all in and i call he had JK and I lost. should I raise him before the turn next time?
  2. I don't hate your line completely, but I wouldn't make it common practice. Maybe a 80/20 or even 90/10 mix at these stakes of raise call. My line would be to 3x him on flop and put him to a decision and if he catches then oh well.

Most important thing is to make sure that you actually put him to a decision though. A min raise doesn't really give you any information. If you 3-3.5x him on flop then you can feel comfortable that you're beat if he comes back over the top. A call by him in that situation is scary, but 9/10 times if he's flopped a set you'll know it right there.

Also, a word about the King falling on turn.... That has to be a HUGE scare card for you. It makes the most possible draw, probable two pair with his bet on the flop. I don't disagree with a raise there, but if he comes over the top I think you have to seriously consider laying down your hand. There's just so much out there that beats you.

  3. At these stakes I push a bit harder than 3x on the flop as many players at this lvl just can't lay down a draw and don't understand pot odds. I give him AJ, KJ, QJ, QT, T8 weighted to KJ, QT, T8. On the flop it looks like $1 in and .50 to go if I read this right - my line at this lvl is make it $4 or $5 to go and see what he does.

As played on the turn I think you have to lay it down to his push. At that point you only have about $4 in and the K leaves you behind his most probable hands, you can find a better spot.
