  1. Villian sat in 2 hands ago. Quick check of his DB shows me he has a 78% roi, 25.31avbi, 1263 games, and a 17,775 cash in the MSOP#5 event last May. Reg knows his way. With zero reads here what is the best line here on the flop and why? Jam/flat or ????

  2. Flat and get in on turn other than Q prolly

EDIT: or a heart turn...fold that too...getting in now prolly isn't a problem either since it's likely he has Axhh or something.

  3. Yea.....alot of ugly turn cards make it rough with so many draws. I kind of liked flatting as well but there are so many good turns to bluff at too. Not only the hearts but the straight cards as well.

  4. yah it's a tricky spot for sure I just don't see a solid player paying you off with worst if you 4-bet his check raise though
  5. I guess you can flat. Than again there is alot of scary turns. You can Jam but I dont think your getting a call. Looking again I like a flat. Seems beyond suspect. Almost nothing he has is ahead. If you Jam he runs. He didnt like you C bet and so he played back. Flat, check, call, check, jam. if he has the stomach to fire again and again. That hand was all you. Unless you tell me other wise. And if you do than I guess im Low on chips. :)
  6. I def like getting it in vs a random here, but I like making it 5000 instead of shoving because they aren't going to fold 87 if you make it 5k.
  7. That is why I really hated this spot because it seems jamming his c/r range is dicey and flatting leaves you open for exploitation on later streets. I like Beefs flat and re evaluate the turn and force him to fire again but there are just a ton of turn cards that suck. I will post the next street in a few.

    Pick6man ??????

Ugly turn here. Exactly what you do not want to see as this is also a great card for him to bluff at as well but only has 4900ish back.

  8. As much as I hate folding in this mtt I'm probably just over it on the turn and folding. He shouldnt be messing too much with your utg+1 open and this is a very bad turn for your hand.

  10. Just gettin started and went back to check this thread. Appeciate the responses. Looks like the consensus would be to flat and re evaluate the turn. While I did just that at the time it just felt so weak tight/passive and it felt like I shoulda just jammed him on the flop. Is c/r a set of 55s or 66s the best line for him? Would AQ c/r flop lead turn? Is 78xx 2 barrelling? Really hated this spot.......

    Peace

Would you have flatted the flop?
  12. This is def a shitty spot...but I really think the only time he's ever "bluffing" here is with 78...if we shove the flop the ONLY thing your going to get action from is 5s, and 6s. KQ isnt going to show up, AQ isnt going to show up- I think the only time your ever ahead here is if he's got the AQ. Obviously if he's C/R AQ he has no clue what he's doing but hell we've all ran into more than our fair share of morons at the tables right?

If I'm this guy with AQ/KQ I want to get to a cheap showdown right now, so I'm c/calling the flop. Def a really freaky spot but I just dont really see how you could be ahead right now- you said he's a reg that knows what he's doing so, I think here we gotta be flatting the flop bet...folding the turn imo

  13. He auto raised your cbet, obv IMO. Range is anywhere from air, draw, AK, to flopped the set.

Ok then........ if air, draws and other hands we beat are in there how would you proceed?

I think the best here is a combination of what fly said and beef/lab rat/donnie suggested. Reraise or jam a random on the flop and flat/evaluate the turn against good regs.
