  1. I have been making some deep runs in these Rush rebuys that go off at 35 minutes after the hour...This one happens to be the 2r Rush that starts at 0735 EST...I don't use any tracking programs, but had been noticing villain RF to me 3 or 4 times in the past 45 minutes or so...I would like to display this hand in sections as I would like advice on each street to make sure I played this correctly...At the time I was fourth and villain was seventh with 91 left and this hand is essentially for first place chips...Thanks for the input ahead of time, and I'll be back to post the rest of the hand after work....

  2. I'm not looking to get in 150 BB's pre here, or bloat the pot out of position with a 4 bet.

I call and play a flop.
  3. Since this is a rush tournament, call. I don't want to 4bet and play AK OOP or face a jam. In a regular tournament, I could see 4betting. But in a rush tournament, the villain's range is narrower and I'd rather call and evaluate after the flop.
  4. Dont know if this is a leak or not. But why not 4b/f that deep unless you think he is capable of 5betting you with air then I think a 4b/f isnt bad you can flat oop the >10bb 3b but If I think this person is hella nit and his 3b range is QQ+ i think you can ultimately find out where your at in the hand by 4betting pre instead of flatting and playing a board. But Imo I would 4b and reevaluate afterwards if played differently.

Im not sure if flatting is the correct play. yes it is a rush and the ranges are alot tighter thats why i think it would be better to 4b like 68700-71000.

  5. His 3 bet was huge. I just think 4betting here turns a strong hand into a bluff, if you have no intention of calling a jam. I prefer a flat but only get involved if I hit flop hard since I have bad position.
  6. i feel like so much of this is read dependent here... if villain has been 3betting a fair amount this should be a pretty easy 4bet imo, i would lean towards 4betting personally unless i perceived the villain to be extremely nitty because its difficult to take a flop here out of position with AK but folding seems real bad, i'd make it somewhere in the vicinity of 80,000 and then proceed from there
  7. think flat and check all flops - evaluate then - dont like a rereraise as no need risk that many chips

  8. flat and play a flop

  10. Man you run like me.. Spend 4 hrs to get into the top 3% of people and make like 30 bucks. These things have donktards all the way down to this level and it's almost impossible to dodge all the bullets so sorry you got unlucky. As far as hand analysis, it's obv that this guy is awful. His 3 bet is huge but conversely, I don't like your 4 bet either. It's not awful, but my preference is to play pots like this in position not out but a case can be made for 4 betting here since he's obviously a weak opponent and you want the most chips possible. My argument against it is that it's a Rush and the majority of players are waiting for AA or KK but you have blockers so it's debateable...

With that said flop bet sizing is okay, but I like to make it like 95-105k here (again just preference). Now the river bet is what I cringe at. I put him all in here with the nut FD and TPTK every time. You are obviously never folding at this point and if he has you beat you have outs. I'm no pro though so take my advice with a grain of salt...
  11. scroll over country if hes from italy or brazil then 4 bet/call pre. If not just flat vs that absurd sizing and just keep check calling. as played ul mate
  12. yep, very ul... Key pot to the TF not that much you can do.

As played, the guy was about to 3bet big the A8o and gamble to catch knowing (if he is a thinking player) he was beat..

I'll tag him "3bet Ax late, like to gamble in micro RR" and next time you can freely 4bet this AK to him.. Also, is my read/note correct ??
  13. Cant see much, if anything wrong with how you played it.
Off past history the 4bet was correct, the sizing is pretty much spot on with the rest of the hand.
Daft game sometimes, better luck in the future.
  14. @JSagan77...I always see you deep in the same ones I am...thest things are pretty easy to run over if you're not drunk or in spew mode which I occasionally am....also being a rec player, I don't get any volume...I DO have notes on you...
@Lag Rat...He was from Greece and bc the 3bet was so big, I almost jammed the flop thinking he can never fold JJ there...Is there any value in jamming the flop or does that just shut down all action?
@Lenail....your note is spot on....I have this guy labeled an uber monkey mothershover....I'll obv remember what that means....I knew he sucked when he 3bet soooo large....sigh...I run bad...
@rayfox...thanks bro...thought I played it okay...I agree with Lab to shove the turn, but I figured he would obv see me being committed and I wanted him to shove any inferior hand....just wanted to make sure the rest of the sizing was good....

Often I will flat the 3 bet but his sizing and the fact he was from Greece led me to believe that 4 betting was the better option....appreciate the comments...gonna get one of these rebuys soon godamnit....staying positive has helped me play, errr, run better....that and not looking at the screen when I'm all in and ahead...
