  1. I bust a lot of mtts in spots like this. I just end up check calling all the way down and call it a cooler. I'd love some insight on some different thought processes.

  2. Check/call turn...consider a very small river value bet on blanks if villain checks behind?

  3. i don't expect my opinion's worth much but i would get it in on the flop against his stack size... if you're going to : " just end up check calling all the way down and call it a cooler" then why not get it in on the flop and call it a cooler... or he folds or possibly calls with hands that you beat.

  4. I like how you played it.

Personally, I would probably bet 750 or so on the river and fold to a raise after his turn check. You'd get value from a hand like 99/TT, or even sometimes AK (though obv he wasn't calling in this particular hand with JT). If he raises, he would most likely have rivered a flush or turned a set of queens and then it'd be an easy fold.

For what it's worth, if he bet big again on the turn I would be folding most likely.
