Yah had to look it up when u posted Doc....Cuz i was thinking the same things....
Deeb Plans to Donate
As we mentioned earlier, Shaun Deeb is playing in today's event. Before you hit the forums and give him too hard a time about it, Deeb has explained that he's playing today because he lost a prop bet and that he plans on donating any money he wins to charity.
my guess is whoever did wsop reporting just read ur post lol...
or could be a cover up.... -

Just want to make sure I don't accidentally acknowledge any of those losers after today. As far as I'm concerned, if you have a penis and you played the ladies event, you don't exist. -

Was with him this morning so kinda doubt it.
This kid did tho.. http://media.cardplayer.com/assets/p...Fohrenbach.JPG but hes out after reshoving A8o into AQ in in the second level of play. GG Ricky. -
when does the men only tourny start?
-
I thought I was the only person thinking this, It's not all the other wsop events are Men's only events. I mean I think they just do it to say your the best female player at the wsop.

Still would be funny if deeb won it, That picture is priceless. -
If its not explicitly against the rules then its fair game

They will get a ban...lol @ entering a ladies event -
I honestly think a ladies event is a great idea to have more women involved in the game and it they obv are more comfortable playing with just the girls. And why be a doucher and register and spoil the fun. Women are less than 10% of Wsop fields anyway. Let them have fun Play poker and bitch and cry

doubt it

I could care who plays it. It's sexist to begin with.
Why can u have a ladies event and it not be sexist.
If we had a white person only tournament it would be racist. -
there are a ton of different reasons why woman would want to play in these events that have nothing to do with equality...your looking too deep into it. ask some females the reasons they play the events.
-
love the cardplayer article. I mean if you are going to get a woman professional poker player to comment, could you at least get one that doesn't look like a guy (Kathy Liebert)?

Edited By: Wein Jun 11th, 2010 at 11:52 PMA women's event certainly will stimulate the growth of poker, and from an EV perspective new players to the game will certainly generate more money in my pocket. However, if you look at it from an outside perspective, it is truly awful. It does not empower women, it degrades them.Originally Posted by Popperhead

I would love to see that Polansky dickbag try to ban any males from playing this event based on them being males. It's sexism. If you aren't looking at the world through a poker peephole, you can see why pretty easily.
None of their reasons have anything to do with equality, or they wouldn't play them to begin with. -
considering deeb has a decent B cup... i have no problem with him playing
