Ok...so i had been playing 2/5 NL this past weekend at the good ol' foxwoods. I had been playing for a good 5 hrs or so when this hand came up. My table was pretty much going to be breaking in the next 5 hands or so as we were 6 handed and others were leaving. I had a good read on the table and was up from my buy in of $500 to about $700ish and said villan in the hand has roughly $600.
Prior to the hand, my read on this player was he was very tag. He had shown down two hands in the past 2 hrs that he played (both times AA). To the hand...Im in the cutoff and villan is on the button.
UTG raises to $35 (pretty standard for this time of the night). UTG+1 calls and UTG+2 calls. I call with AJ of spades. Button (Villan) also calls. SB folds and BB calls.
5 Ways to the flop (pot at $180): Flop: K (spades) 10 (spades) Q (diamonds).
Checked around to me: I decided to lead out with the nut straight, royal draw to hopefully enduce a raise but the Button mulls it over for around 30 sec. and calls my bet of $120. This led me to believe he had a big hand as he was ultra tight. I put him on possibly two pair but more a set than anything.
Turn: 7 (clubs) so the board read K/10/Q/7 with two spades.
I had roughly $550 behind and with $420 or so in the pot. I open pushed. He looked completed sick as he had $435 behind after he counted. He made the crying call for the rest of his chips even though I didnt give him good odds and turned up QQ for a set. I was looking good at 80/20 to win....
Obv a 7 of spades plopped on the river to fill him up and he proceeded to say he knew it was coming...lol.
Not being results oriented, did i make too big of a c-bet on the flop with the nuts, should I have check behind? Was my push on the turn too excessive as I possible could have gotten away if he checked behind and the board paired on the river? I liked the way I played it but am more than willing to hear criticism.. -
waste of 2 minutes. totally stadard. you say "not results oriented". This thread is completely results oriented. bad beat. standard by both of you. wow you piss me off having to read this.

obv brag post about flopping nut straight, nut flush draw and gutshot royal flush draw

omfg are u kidding? U owe me 3 mins of my life back. Post this in bad beats.
U got ur money in good, and got sucked out on. Who the fck cares about ur cont bet size if u got a guy to stack off.
U say u have an awesome read of the table, which we DO NOT, so why even bother posting if ur call pre is completely based on the fact u can outplay ur opponents postflop based on reads. -
shouldnt have posted results sorry i wasted your time for the first two replies! thanks for those that have something worth while to say.

im an idiot i know i wont post hands like this anymore...lesson learned! ty.

Please dont post something like this again.. ever. Dumbest post I've read since Monday.

These other guys are being a little too harsh with their wording, but they're right. You got your money in and got called when you held the nuts. There is nothing worth discussing here. Nice hand, very unlucky.

please don't ever post again.
you owe me 25 minutes of my life back. -
i know im sorry...im retarded. my bad!

Cash game lesson for today:
Always fold the nuts with the super nut redraw. -
QTs on Ks Js isnt a gutshot, its a gutshot to the royal flush but...
also this post is just a disguised bad beat. You got all of your money in as a huge favorite, if u see something wrong with this u dont understand poker.
