Last night, PocketFiver Jymaster0011 Jordan Young made online poker headlines when he took down the Full Tilt Poker $750k Guarantee weekly flagship event and the Full Tilt Sunday Brawl for $132,800 and $105,000. Jordan is currently ranked #90 in the world at online tournament play (PLB #60, Pro Poll #77), with a March '10 victory in the Full Tilt $150k Guarantee ($150+13 NLHE) for $58,400 and over $500,000 in career tournament cashes in events tracked by PocketFives.
Jordan is currently competing in the $1k Monday [EDIT: he is out of the $1k but still in other events] (search Jymaster11 on Full Tilt), and has offered to take the time WHILE he is playing to answer any questions or feedback that our posting members have. On behalf of the entire P5s community, congratulations to Jordan on his achievement!
This thread is now open to all our posting members. Feedback will be addressed by Jordan in this thread as he plays. -
When you took down the brawl, at which stage of the tournament in the 750k did you actually feel that you could actually ship the 750k as well on the same day, was it before you reached ft? Were you particularly motivated that day or do you think it was more of a case of persitent hard work for a long time in achieving such an incredible feat.

1) How long have you been pro?
2) How many losing months have you had in past year?
3) What is a bad losing month for you in $ approximately -
How many tables do you play at the same time?
What are your thoughts on the Sunday Brawl hand where you open raise UTG w/T3o and (v)bet the river... You where bluffing there with the best hand, right?????????
What is better; - high volume with low-mid BI's (10-30 tabling)? lower volume (6-10 tabling) high stakes?? -
I would say that I realized I could win the 750k when there were about 50 people left. People started to tighten up and that really benefitted me a lot. I have definetely put in a lot of volume over the past year so I think this achievement is mostly factored towards the hard work I've put in. And obviously I ran like God on Sunday:)

This is the first Sunday I've made a prediction that I would win 6 figures. In the past I've said I was gonna win a lot of money on so and so day but yesterday I just felt like it was the day.

I've been playing professionally for almost two years now. In the past 8 months I've had 1 losing month, it was June during the WSOP and I lost a lot:)Originally Posted by captainhighfive

Glitch in FTP software. -
i was across from u in the wsop main this year on day 3... that T7s hand raped dunno how u didnt get there, getting valued 3 streets by 22 was pretty great to witness as well (guessing u had AK?). Also there was a hand where i opened pre and cbet into u and that retard from the prev 2 hands flop was like K 3 4 or K 2 3 something like that rainbow i immediately pitched to ur c/s but after thinking about it realized ud never raise a set or KQ and never have AK or flat 3 ways w/ AA vs the other guy in the hand, so maybe ur range was like oesd or like A5s etc... just curious what u had hindsight i shoulda called it off w/ the A hi i had i think.
Grats on the success tho u play like an american philbort -
I'm not real sure, I played with him at the FT of the UB $215 last week....he played good.
I usually play anywhere from 8-14 tables. I was valuebetting with the T3o, I knew exactly what he had. I would much rather play 6-10 tables for higher stakes then up to 30 tables for midstakes...I just dont think I would be having fun playing that many tables.Originally Posted by iPlayTourneys

I went to Michigan State, twice....
I usually run up my steps and grab something to drink, that's about it:) -
will you go back to being unbacked now? what about backing others will you delve into that bottomless pit? you said you lost alot at wsop do you think your online games transfers well to the live arena or do u need to tweak it some? thx for the replies

So real talk, How did You celebrate your Shippage? God your such a General!!!!
Ps: If I set the line at 90k for your worst Downswong what side would you take? -
After last night me and my backer squared up and I'm on my own again, I was backed for a total of 17 days. I think my backer was pleased with my results during our relationship:) lol. I back a little bit but nothing real big, I'll probably just keep it that way. I think live poker and online poker are two different animals and I think I need to tweak my game a little bit for live but I'm not going to be changing much. I'm just always looking for ways to improve.

I looked down at my hand and I thought "what would Jamie Armstrong do in a spot like this?" So I pumped it up and turned a pair.
Yea I had AK vs that guy and on the hand vs you the flop came K73 and I check shoved 45o:)Originally Posted by doubledave22
