I've been playing poker for about 7 or 8 years. I started out playing live for the first few years and then dabbed with online a little. I didnt really take online poker seriously until about 2 years ago. Since then I've been playing 95% online and have been doing fairly well. But I've noticed in the last six months that I cant win at a live cash game to save my life. I think the biggest reason is because Im use to playing multiple tables online, seeing several hands every minute. Switching back to live poker is a real slow down, only one hand ever several minutes. So what happens is I get bored and end up playing hands and situations that I shouldnt and end up losing money. Does this happen to any of y'all, and if so, how did you deal with it?
Thanks,
Nick -
I dont think this is just a thing of going from online to live. I think live players generally want to see more flops. I've only played live a few times and everyone is so bad it's funny. BUT with that said, all in preflop and my KK<J10 what can you do.

I agree there are a lot of bad live players. But I think I actually regressed because I use to be a much much better live player. For instance, I would be mad if I went home after an 8 hour session only winning a couple hundred bucks. But now, I would be ecstatic about it.
I was never the J10 guy...lol

lol I was so pissed after that hand. Came on the river too, much like my online poker luck it seems. The river is just so unfriendly to me. I wish there were only 4 community cards, my ROI would be like 1000 instead of probably 0.
But IMO, not a lot of live experiance, they just like to see more flops since there are far few hands. Just gotta pick out the good ones. I live in michigan so I don't have to worry about too many sharks at the casino I go to. -
live poker is so rigged its ridiculous

LOL...I think everyone I play with works for the casino.
