  1. I pretty much quit playing poker cold turkey 3 years ago...or whenever that was when netteller went down after it became illegal or whatver to play online. I know it didnt stop most..but for me it was a good time to focus my energy in more profitable areas.

Anyway...I seem to remember the RIO doing single table tournaments. Are any places still doing these are a regular basis?
  2. Not that I am really aware of, but that doesn't say they don't. I know the Venettian doesn't do it, Mirage will do it if they get 10 players but they hardly ever run. I think the places that do actually run them probably do it the same as the Mirage "as needed" basis.

However, you can go down when any of the big events are going on like Venettians deep stack, Diamond Classic, just to name a few. They run satellites all day during the events, and they are the same as a SnG. I know there is quite a few people that go down and "just" grind the satellites.
